I have this printer. It doesnt print nowhere near as fast.  How did you get it to do that? What operating system does your computer use?

@samlugony You need to set it to "Fast" mode on either the machine itself if you're making a copy, or in the printer properties when printing from the computer.

@overmanonfire I've printed over 200,000 prints in about 3 years on mine and it still works like new. Paid for itself probably 20 times with the continuous ink.

Wholly free wholly's! I have this same printer, but I did not know it printed entire sections of a page in a single pass!

I don't know what some people are talking about, this printer has been great for me. I am not a business though, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Also, how did you get your printer to print while the door is open? Whenever I tried that, it instantly stopped because it doesn't like people looking up it's skirt while printing.

@JuicyDBASE If you look at 0:32 you see a folded piece of paper I inserted into the cover closed sensor to make it think it's closed.

It's actually cheaper than laser printer toner, it's one of the printers with the lowest ink cost. But even so, I modified mine to use a continuous ink system, I've printed over 75,000 prints so far and haven't bought a single ink cartridge.

I would like to see this modification! I have one on order because my HP officejet 7410xi broke out of nowhere. It had the doomed "check color cartridge" error.
