The Green Lantern was an absolute waste of time and money so they better keep that writer out of it. I hope they'll go with a more adult vision on this version. Maybe they should just better leave all superheroe movies to Christopher Nolan!
@captcrais101 This dark tone for the "Dark Knight" works out perfect. I agree that not all super hero movies should be "dark". I love the adult view Nolan gives on the character putting the effort in creating a "believable" story and not just having a few guys running around in spandex outfits crying out cheesy one liners with an american flag in the background.

They have to get rid of Chris Evans. Yeah he was hilarious and a great Torch, but he's Captain America now and now that he's in the Avengers film he can't play two heroes at once! Keep Chiklis as The Thing, but change the rest. Evans was a good torch, but not irreplaceable. there are plenty of smart ass-in shape actors. Seann William Scott?? Dane Cook?? I will applaud any studio that waits AT LEAST ten years before a remake. We have Batman, Superman, Spider-man and now Fantastic Four being remade within five years of each other.

Ioan looked and came across as Reed Richards personified... exactly like the comics, and Jessica played a very classy Sue, and Chris was the perfect mix of brawn and hilarity which brought the Torch to life, and Micheal is just badass. A reboot of such a popular and recent movie is just plain weird and slightly idiotic, not to mention a slap in the face to the actors from the FF and FF: Silver Surfer! They should do a third set after Johnny is killed (rather than recast him)

They're rebooting F4 movies because it's too far from the original story line.
1st movie.- Victor Von Doom is their worst enemy and he was a nerd challenging Reed Richards to be the most intelligent guy... not a business man, for god sake.

There was a lot of wasted potential. As far as the actors were concerned with the original movies I thought that Ioan Gruffud, Chris Evans, and Michael Chiklis all were very good with Jessica Alba as the weak link. To bad they couldn't have casted a better Invisible Woman and gotten better scripts.
I'm just glad that Batman Begins set the bar HIGH for comic movies. Most do not meet the standard but do try to come close. All I have to say to production companies taking on movies made from comics is GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! how many more version/reboots of the fantastic 4 are going to be made? The story has never been that great but the old 60s/70s cartoon that was super corny was better than the new movies. And the animated series was better..

Ioan looked and came across as Reed Richards personified... exactly like the comics, and Jessica played a very classy Sue, and Chris was the perfect mix of brawn and hilarity which brought the Torch to life, and Micheal is just badass. A reboot of such a popular and recent movie is just plain weird and slightly idiotic, not to mention a slap in the face to the actors from the FF and FF: Silver Surfer! They should do a third set after Johnny is killed (rather than recast him)

They're rebooting F4 movies because it's too far from the original story line.
1st movie.- Victor Von Doom is their worst enemy and he was a nerd challenging Reed Richards to be the most intelligent guy... not a business man, for god sake.

2nd.- movie.- Galactus and Silversurfer, get into F4 lives after a very complex events..... not due to a very silly plot like "Independance Day" movie.

i think the reboot wont be good, cause its way 2 early reboots usally happen like 2 or 3 decades after the orginal. and the stroyline for it was not even complte and they left it on a cliffhanger. finish something be4 u start a new one

There was a lot of wasted potential. As far as the actors were concerned with the original movies I thought that Ioan Gruffud, Chris Evans, and Michael Chiklis all were very good with Jessica Alba as the weak link. To bad they couldn't have casted a better Invisible Woman and gotten better scripts.

I'm just glad that Batman Begins set the bar HIGH for comic movies. Most do not meet the standard but do try to come close. All I have to say to production companies taking on movies made from comics is GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! how many more version/reboots of the fantastic 4 are going to be made? The story has never been that great but the old 60s/70s cartoon that was super corny was better than the new movies. And the animated series was better..
