  • I know ur feeling. I am a premed student going for med school. I felt depress many times too.my schedule is so time consuming I ruin my relationship w/my Gf. Had no time for her. Nothing is wrong w/u. U do not need medications. Just try to go out more & socialize out there. hiking clubs, scuba, pedal bicycling. Volunteer, hang out/study @ sbucks and meet interesting people. Or change hospitals or clinics. Also, try to find a BF who is in the same field that way you guys can understand each other.

  • hey i came across your videos cus ive been thinking of going to nursing school. i find it very interesting. well i just wanted to know if you have ever thought of trying some medication? i think a lot of ppl need meds to help them at certain times in their life. i think sometimes depression can ruin a persons dreams if it takes over.i dont want to offend if you dont believe in things like that.i know this video was a while back. i hope you are doing better now :)

  • Hang in there> Jesus loves you !!! I am doing the nursing thing too, and it's not easy at all. Especially if you are working too. I will pray for you! You will be better soon.

  • This is the first video I have ever saw of you, and please let me say, you are such a STRONG AND BEAUTIFUL PERSON. I know it feels/ felt like all H*ll was breaking loose but like I always say....THE DEVIL NEVER ATTACKS PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT A THREAT. HE KNOWS YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY TO VICTORY AND HE HATES THAT!!! BUT GOD, HE HAS THE FINAL SAY AND NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER, YOU WILL RISE JUST KEEP ON KEEPING ON.... GOD BLESS YOU :-)

  • Jesus loves you! I hope that everything is better, when everything else fails, read the Bible, it will help encourage you!

  • They say that successful people are the most frustrated people. Frustration is part of success.

  • We are cut almost from the same cloth.. I'm feeling exactly how yu are feeling & I hate to feel this way. I dnt wanna give up & I'm praying the end result will be greater than all my worries & concerns. As a student & as a nursing student jr year I pray for increase. Med surg 1 , Pathophysiology , & pharmacology is NOT THE BUSINESS. 18 credits & all I can do is cry & study. My momma told me to read psalms 61 I hope yu read whenever yur in distress God Bless! & keep the faith.

  • Adam thank you so much for sharing... It really meant alot to me & helped me to see that its ok to feel blue as a nursing student at times.. Stay strong Adam! I believe in you!! :-)

  • Hang in there. You can do this! I was at a point like this doing my prerequisites for nursing. Maybe you talking about this helped lift a little stress of you.

  • Icantellyouareareally strong person. I can tell you that, I was a student of biochemistry and later economics for 5 years, never finishing either degree. I felt extremely depressed and disillusioned with both of my major choices, after trying to do school and work full time constantly for all those years. I just hope that, if you were so excited and determined for this schooling and career before, then it is truely what you want to do, and you will find yourself comfortable and determined again.

  • Adam try to find a roommate so that u don't have to spend so much time working and u can devote more time with school. I pray that God will see u through these challenges. I know u can do it, don't give up on your dreams.

  • Let me tell YOU, nursing is a whole mess within in itself so keep to yourself and study FORREAL! All types of things that wouldnt happen on a regular day will happen when your trying to "do better" in life so do it one day at a time. As for your boyfriend, leave him be until you graduate because Ive seen tooooo many people fail out of programs because they were investing time in BS when they should have been investing in themselves (school).

  • Keep Your Head UP.

    Believe in yourself

  • hang in there man you will get through it. good luck!!

  • Can you move back in with your mom and cut some of your hours until you get through school? I surely wish you well and will pray for you!!!!

  • Yes that feeling is completely normal! I hope the best for you!

  • I really hope you are going to be okay ....just stay focus =)... YOU GOT THIS !!!

    "this to shalll pass"

    Good Luck

    From Angie

  • Im in block 2 nursing school, nursing school is hard as hell, hang in there!! I know exactly what your saying I dont even know who the hell I am right now, you'll get through it and the sun will shine again for you soon!!

  • Dntt allow anybody to steal your joy b/c they didn't give it to you. I'm the administrator to my nursing school's Facebook group and I encouraged others after midterms b/c everyone was feeling overwhelmed and just ready for the semester to be over by saying "Remember someday there will be a person who's life one of us personally will save and they're going to need us to keep going!! We are here to save specific people's lives and to care for them too. We're all blessings in our own right. teamRN

  • it gets better, I know it seems like it wont but it will, I have never had panic attacks until I started nursing school. I literally thought I was having a heart attack but it was just stress from school. so I know where you are coming from, I have lost friends, and my youth and life, behind nursing school, and I thought I didnt want to be a nurse too but as the end nears it gets better. im speaking from experience, nursing makes you do a 360 in 60secs. please dont give up. it is hard, dont quit

  • school is hard, nursing school is harder... most of my classmates have fallen back or are totally out of the program.... so many let the drama, work, family, finances... then school work.... i hope that things are better for you.

  • ex boyfriend??????? O_o

  • Hello, sorry I'm late but yes it is normal to feel like crap during nursing school. But, honestly working and nursing school sometimes is not a good mix. But, anything and everything is possible! And nurses are special people. And the stress will pass. Also, everything in life takes balance! Stay beautiful

  • ty for your honestly...this will help other ppl going thru the same things and feeling alone :)

  • to you fail, but please believe me...you have to remain strong...time is going to pass anyway you might as well make this huge sacrifice so that you won't ever have to sacrifice and feel this way ever again... Nursing is hard...but you will get through if you weren't supposed to be there you wouldn't be there and as far as relationships go...sometimes god has to take people out of your life who will not contribute... it hurts but it is a blessing stay encouraged and strong.

    :)

  • I realize I'm late...but I just wanted to say I know exactly what you mean when you say you feel like a ghost of your previous self. I am in my fourth and final year of nursing school and up until now I have worked full time and attempting to maintain a long term relationship...I just wanted to say keep going...keep pushing...it will pay off...its so hard to look and see the light at the end of the tunnel so hard... when you're tired, and you have people not being supportive, and people wanting

  • are you sad because you feel bad for the patients?

  • yoo you speak like a woman..Man the fuck up!! Why the hell act like a woman... speak like a man.

  • @wwe1raw ....you sound jealous, probably because you wish you could express yourself like him with your closeted ass !!

  • are you doing LPN or RN?

  • nursing school is all about time management,

  • i went throught this lasy year an it is totally normal . but this is what i advise while in nursing school relationships are totally out of the question seriously there is no time 4 it, because with all your studies you may haft to live with only 4hrs of sleep every day. and about ur mom just pray to god, an know that she is in his hands, and about your job what i did was only work fridays after class 3pm-7am an do the same on sat, yes double it up. try to rest on sun,

  • ill b prayin for you sweetheart! Dont give up and give God your burdens. im in prenursing school with 2 kids and i go up and down too. be encouraged and know who God made you. A beautiful creation! Dont forget that honey!

  • DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!....Am a new graduate nurse and I can definately relate to what you are going through right now. Money and family issues...i know, i know how u are feeling but DO NOT GIVE UP!!!...It gets BETTER after graduationg! It's all worth it after you get that degree...things will get soo much better to the point that you will forget about almost everything that you went thru...

  • I just wanted to let you know as a fellow nursing student, how you feel is completely normal!Nursing school is a constant struggle-physically,emotionally & mentally! But you've made it this far!Don't let anything get in your way of achieving your dream!Stay dedicated, prioritize & surround yourself with supportive people.Sometimes it takes a big sacrifice.Balancing is key to keeping your spirits up!Everything else should fall into place!I wish you the best of luck!hope you're feeling better!

  • Awwww Dashawn! Please don't give up! I had to interview a nurse as a requirement for my nursing school entrance interview and the thing she stressed more than anything else was "DO NOT GIVE UP! EVEN WHEN IT GETS HARD, AND IT DOES GET HARD! NEVER EVER GIVE UP!" I wish you the best!

  • hi, i wanted to tell you that you are so lucky and blessed to be in nursing school, if you need to cry cry,but dont let no one tell you u cant do this think of all the people you are going to help with your nursing always give your pt lots of love and remember boyfriends come and go but your nursing will always be with you and the most inportant thing GOD got you always but god fist in your life and u will be able to do things you could not even think you could. GOD bless you!

  • Yes a month! Glad to see you again. I don't know if you believe in God but my heart go's out to you and I am praying for you. Working full time and school is very hard. It will pass just keep your head up and get a scripture every day and meditate on it. The best ones to lift your spirit is in psalms. I work 11-7 and I have to come home to 2 kids under 5ys old and I am tired. I also have another job when I am not working as a CNA. Keep your head up babes.

  • in my opinion, it sounds like you have a lot going on. and it may sound religious but it sounds a lot like a bad spirit or demon that is inside of your heart and mind trying its best to tear you down mentally and physically. when they realize you have something going for yourself, they try to deterr you from your path . continue school and your job if u can. continue praying to God and ask him for strength and to peace and protection from all hurt harm and danger. you will be okay Adam. God has

  • So, you had threee variabled that caused stress, boyfriend-x, work-y, and nursing school-z. If you're still stressed and unhappy after dumping your boyfriend, maybe you got rid of the wrong variable? And you're doing awesome with nursing school, so we know you shouldn't get rid of that stressful variable. Drop the Job, keep the bf. You'll be less stressed and more in love and happy :-)

  • you don't need additional stress. I think that dumping the Job and keeping your boyfriend would make you happier. You need you time. Get rid of the Job, giver your focus to your future and what you love, for instance, your boyfriend. Because if you've got a focus on your future and people that support you, the journey to being a nurse will be easier. Can't you get a loan to go through nursing school, or receive a grant, scholarship?

  • You can do this! You've got a 90 average. You're working full time. You've made choices to benefit your nursing career: dumping your boyfriend to reduce your stress. May I suggest 777mendoza777 's youtube channel. He's made it through nursing school. Initially he worked full time while in nursing school, he went to part-time, and finally he had to let go of his job. I think you have to eventually let go of that job...honestly, working full-time and going through nursing would depress anyone.

  • You can get through this just hang in there!

  • I know it's hard because you don't have the support you need to get through something soooooo difficult but these are the trials that make us stronger! I wish you the best .. and that you can somehow find it in yourself to stay strong. HUGS!

  • Adam!!! listen to me! you can't let this difficult part in your life discourage you from continuing with your goals. You knew it was gonna be hard..you need to push through and remember that your opportunities don't last. You can't be that " Bitch" sitting in someone's seat like you stated before. That seat belonged to you and you must push through !

  • Studying is hard work!Keep it up being a nurse is a rewarding career!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's absolutely normal to need reassurance! Nursing school is tough! I had two cousins that finished it. First, I'm proud of you for getting in. You worked so hard to get there. Second, more that anything college is a test. It tests you emotionally, physically, and spiritually. It's almost like they're trying to weed you out. But here's the thing, you don't know me from a can of paint, but I know YOU will make it if you don't give up. Because I followed your videos and the passion that you....

  • @bdwriley showed about being a nurse and getting into nursing school, that can drive and hold you throughout this process. Just remember the reasons why you got there. And if it gets bad enough, the school also has counseling services (time and psychological) to help you manage that stress. In conclusion, I believe in you and with all of the other comments here, I know I am not alone in my faith in you. Just hang in there and don't give up and I will pray for you brother.

  • you working while going to nursing school.. thats prob why and personal problems. but keep up the good work ! you will make it!

  • thanks for the info. i might have to change majors. god bless u an may the budren pass in your life,.

  • awww everything will be fine. just stay focused on where u wanna be. this wont last forever. just know that one day everything will be stress free again. keep your head up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
