  • Best Design Ever.

    Best Soundtracks Ever.

    Best History Ever.

    Best Gameplay Ever.

    Best Bosses Ever.

What's not perfect on this game?

  • @shikamaruxb3

    dungeon after dungeons

  • Still never found the Royal sword. Never going to quit trying. This soundtrack is so good.

  • @ILOVETODANCELOL 6 months ago... before the treason of MML3 and that MvC3 Reselling nightmare uh?

  • @Raferqc I still love Capcom and what they do. While I think it could have been handled better, I don't believe the MML3 was a 'treason' at all. It was a logical choice, and I'd rather have Capcom frustrate 30K fans around the world than have them release a game that would flop.

I consider UMvC3 to be great news and I eagerly await the release of the game. The new chars look sick and have great themes, and I like the new mechanics and moves. 40 bucks isn't expensive either.

  • @ILOVETODANCELOL So you're saying you love that Capcom shows no creative energy or spirit anymore? Continues to simply rehash and re-release old games and concepts? Capcom has surely lost itself and of course they're going to stay in business because people like yourself just don't care too much. MML3 would have sold very well as it would have been something fresh and large early in the 3DS' span, thus multiplying the number of sales by fans and gamers alike. It most certainly wouldn't flop.

  • @MegaMacTV You complain about rehashes and old concepts, yet in the same breath wish that MML3 wouldn't have been cancelled. Quite impressive that you would manage to contradict yourself in so few words.

I do not think that Asura's Wrath is a rehash or an old concept. Same for Dead Rising. I do also love fighting games, and the ones Capcom has been working on are all quite unique.

  • @ILOVETODANCELOL I am certainly not fond of Capcom's choices. Especially with Mega Man. MM9 was a good nostalgic throwback sure, but MM10 was a bit much. They show little to no care in most of their franchises. Only throwing things out there to seemingly appease fans...sometimes. Asura's Wrath, while neat and extreme, looks to be somewhat generic, but has a lot of promise. As did MML3. It wouldn't have been a rehash, it had plenty of new and interesting features. Shame we'll never see them.

  • @MegaMacTV Mega Man 10 was great. Excellent level designs, good bosses, incredible soundtrack, and it was also quite long and hard. Not to mention the extra modes and stages. The return of the Mega Man Killers was a joyful surprise to me. I don't see how you can say that they don't care about a franchise when they produce such a high-quality game.

  • @MegaMacTV I do not think Capcom has "lost itself". That you do not like their games is your own problem, and is quite a subjective opinion. I personally have loved most of the games they released in the latest years. This is why I am happy to buy games from them, because I wish for Capcom to stay in business. It is my opinion that they do great games, and it is also my opinion that they are very fun, open people that are easy to talk with.

  • @ILOVETODANCELOL It has very much so lost itself. They've even lost a few key minds and developers. Their games and franchises are a little on the downside. Look at RE5. Look at the new DmC. Look at the same ol Street Fighter (although SFxTekken looks kinda neat). I love Capcom, I really do. But it's hard to maintain faith when they don't stay consistent with their fans. I just see very little innovation as of late and more of the same. It's like they're too scared to branch out anymore.

  • @MegaMacTV Resident Evil 5 sold very well. I don't see how it is on the downside when the game is played by a lot of people and brings money to the company. I didn't like it either, but I realize that it was a monetary success.

The new DmC looks slick and I cannot wait to play it. I love the series, and I think Ninja Theory did some really interesting things with their previous games, so I am confident they will handle DmC well. The story seems very interesting too, with a look at Dante's youth.

  • @MegaMacTV Street Fighter IV was excellent, and so was Super. AE was a bit on the unbalanced side, but the 2012 free rebalancing patch will fix that. A few characters are underpowered still, yes, but it's a very solid game. Good engine, good soundrack, good moveset designs. I am absolutely in love still with Abel, Rufus and Juri's playstyles.

Saying that it is the "same ol" is blind bashing from the ignorant. The game plays nothing like previous entries in the series. It is its own beast.

  • @MegaMacTV I do agree that it is very sad that great people such as Inafune had to depart from the company, but the company is far from done just for that. If anything, the superfluous negativity and hatred that people seem to have towards the company for immature and thoughtless reasons is what is hurting them unfairly.

  • @ILOVETODANCELOL Well I don't think wanting a game so amazingly bad for over a decade because you love the series and the company so much just to have them destroy all hope is immature. I think everyone has all the right to be angry. The creator of RE also left. I don't blame them. If they hindered my creative process, I would leave too. I mean, they greenlight things like Ghost Trick when a lot of people couldn't care less, yet they cancel MML3. =/

  • @MegaMacTV Ghost Trick was amongst the greatest games I've played that year. I was also eagerly anticipating it, as it was made by the creative force behind the Ace Attorney games, which I am a fan of.

  • @MegaMacTV If anything, I am more disappointed in the lack of translation for AA Investigations 2 that I am disappointed in the cancellation of MML3. I liked the two first games, and Misadventures was a fun game. However, considering the 3DS sold badly and considering the limited interest it gathered, I think the cancellation was unavoidable. I agree that it should have been handled better, but there isn't much that could have be done, in my opinion, to lessen the blow.

  • @ILOVETODANCELOL I agree with AAI2. Fans demand it and the first one was great. Maybe one day it will happen. Same with Legends 3. Maybe the 3DS price drop and it's maturing as a system will somehow effect its future.

  • @MegaMacTV Please do keep in mind that these are my opinions, of course.

  • @ILOVETODANCELOL As for UMvC3, it should have been the full game from the start. Capcom is infamous for pulling this mess. Sure, 40 dollars isn't much but what about the people who already bought the game, much less the special edition? It's like, cool, now I have to pay 40 more bucks after already paying around 70. Don't even get me started on them not listening to fan demanded characters. Phoenix, Strider and Ghost Rider. That's about it. STILL no Mega Man love. God forbid Breath of Fire.

  • @MegaMacTV You are quite ignorant on the matter at hand. Do you not realize that a game has to be created in a limited timeframe, and with limited resources? Creating all the content that Ultimate has within the timeframe and budget they had was an impossible task. If they tried to do so, the game would have been very unpolished and even more devoid of extra modes than it is already - and the characters would have been very unbalanced and uncreative, compared to how they are now.

  • @MegaMacTV Saying that MvC3 should have had all the Ultimate content in the first place is the immature banter of people that are not able to see the big picture. That we got MvC3 was a great thing, that we are getting UMvC3 is a great thing. With the time and budget they got for UMvC3, Capcom were able to do excellent things - rebalancing a cast that badly needed it, adding new content, and adding 12 characters. 10 of them has been shown so far, and they are all greatly unique, save for Nova.

  • @MegaMacTV As for fan requests, they did add requested modes such as spectator mode, and added characters that a great deal of people were asking for: Wright, Strider, Ghost Rider as you mentioned, but also Vergil, our dear Frank West, and Nemesis, for which I have seen many people begging on discussion boards. They cannot do everything, though. Also, Mega Man fans seem to think that they deserve to see him in every game they want him to be. They aren't.

  • Parts of sadness and mystery mix with each other, while still remaining upbeat. This song truly is representative of the game. :)

  • Me and my bro played this game, we had all the songs (specially this one) and he played it on the piano and I am thinking about him when I hear it. He is still by my side but not that much like before and now is everything upsidedown and yeah... Keep it up bro,

  • @BlondiePa0 Me and my bro use to be up playing Resident Evil, I bought it when it first came out with the little bit of money I had. We were so into that shit!

  • @johncuda

Same here actually! Resident evil is the shit!

  • So much sleepless nights... good times, good games.

  • I really wish they would make another Breath of Fire game. I'm not one of those people blinded by nostalgia that disregard everything Capcom has been doing these days I honestly think that the time is right for a new BoF game. I wouldn't even mind another Dragon Quarter. A new BoF would wash the taste of DmC out of my mouth.

  • I remember when I heard this tune after coming out of the mines after ryu changed to an adult, made me feel like had been away for a long time and so much change had taken place, simply awesome

  • Whenever I'm stressed, i can pop in the BOF3 soundtrack and just chill Yoshino Aoki & Akari Kaida make a great pair.

  • Breath of Fire III has some of the best music EVER in a video game. Soothing, relaxing, intense, spooky, nostalgic.

    What a great game.

  • I like this song, but it feels kinda sad and depressing like it's reminding you that's something is missing.

  • @gundamredframe agree

  • @gundamredframe

I guess that's it's purpose ie ryu now knows who he is and that he's a danger to the planet and now he's trying to find answers, this theme is more a journey of truth imo since ryu goes to look for answers from this point on and eventually has to fight for his right to live.

  • *sniffs* This is why I love gaming.....

  • Man I love this world map theme.....always reminds me of having to regretfully fight Teepo.

  • I hope someday we will have a masterpiece like this game again! All hail BOF 3

  • Undoubtedly the best theme for one of the most underrated RPG series.

  • hey how do you get breath of fire 3 for the psp?

  • Ugh, both these themes make me crazy nostalgic.... I used to make dumb fanfics about these too!

  • This game was so fantastic. It kept the feel and theme of the first two, and then kicked it all up a level. This music really was spectacular, and made Breath of Fire 3 stand out next to other RPGs at the time. I hope that Capcom returns to the series some day.

  • Very good music. Will never let this game go!

  • i love the song and it's one of my favorites, but people say this music is relaxing? i always thought it was pretty depressing. the world sucks now, there's no real order or explanation. we're pretty much lost and without direction. that's how i felt whenever i heard it.

  • This is by far, the best world map theme song in a rpg...It's so smooth and calid...Reminds me of a sunny day.

  • @Dogonho

No doubt about it! Just a great theme and by the way one of my most favourite rpg's of all time!

  • @CologneCroatian

I double that. I finished this in the ps1, then I played again in the PS2, and currently I'm playing it for the third time already in my PSP.

It's just so great. I love the BoF series, I've been playing them ever since the first one on SNES. But BoF III is my top favorite. There's just something about the characters which always gets to me. I feel like I'm there with them, and that they could be real people. Well, most of them! (I'd love to have a Peco pet around, though...)

  • Punyu~?

  • @Dogonho i win, completed 2 times on ps1. 2 times on psp and on my 5th time nw

  • @Dogonho Reminds me... a new begin...

  • @Dogonho

LOL. "A Sunny Day". Love how you worded that. Should've been the title of this song actually! I can just feel the breeze on my face and the clouds covering the sun lol..

  • Strolling across a field of green with an equally endless sky of blue above.

  • awesome game.. relaxing music.. the game teaches a lot of things.. friendship, engineering, sushi, cutting woods, and too many other things..

  • This song makes me think of a sad journey that's almost over, kind of like a reunion. Ryu, Rei, and Teepo were all separated from each other, Ryu and Rei teamed up again, but Teepo had to die. :(

  • this is the best music over this game u feel like all the emotions when u hear this sadness sorrow happness i mean everything memorable good old times

  • Best theme ever for RPG...it always remind me of my dreamy world of BOF3!!!!i would love to live in a world like that only without the bad guys lol

  • One of the best themes from this awesome RPG :P

  • it remind me of the time of a highschool

    1st year!!

  • Oh Yeah it remids me of 1st year in College lol..

  • appropriate, since ryu's just at the age where he'd be in college when you first hear this song.

  • I love this world map theme. Other ones I love too are the Final Fantasy series world map themes, Dragon Quest/Warrior world map themes, the world map theme before this one, Wild Arms series, and Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu, the first Mana game). Chrono Trigger is quite nice too.

  • beautiful tune.

  • Best World song in the games

  • Ok I have two BOF 3 soundtrack albums, neither have this song it can only be heard in the game, or not? Where can i get it then^^

  • It can definitely be heard in game!

When you reach a certain point in the game this becomes the world map music for the rest of the game.

  • I miss this song and game so much^^. One of the best world map theme^^!!!!!!

  • Hearing this after crossing Desert of Death refreshes my mind very much, Best world map theme ever!

  • This song is so good and it kinda makes me sad cuz of all the great memories i had of playing this game!

  • Breath of Fire III, best game ever

  • This is seriously the best world map theme ever.

  • It's hard to disagree.

  • @ILOVETODANCELOL Really hard...

  • @ILOVETODANCELOL Let's disagree in order to agree.

  • @TenchiHawkwing YYYEEEESSS!!!!!

  • @TenchiHawkwing especially when youre playing @ night

  • @TenchiHawkwing

Indeed... I can't think of much better. Suikoden II did have a phenomenal one, and Lunar Silver Star Story's was really awesome too. Am I dating myself? Maybe... ha...

  • @TenchiHawkwing No, I think Final Fantasy 7 has the best world map theme ever. I love the way it builds and builds to an exciting climax. This theme is beautiful too. I love the drums and the jazzy feel of it. It feels so powerful but calm in the same way.

  • @CoreyLongmire o,ok

  • Damn thanks its so nice remember the past days.
