The guy playing the manager is probably from India. And it's not unknown to use British actors for American characters. Hugh Laurie, who plays the title role on "House", is British. Angela Cartwright (who played Penny on "Lost in Space") is British. Most of the time, she kept her accent from peeking through on the show.

@Wilber510 There are a lot of Indians who have a perfect British accent. India was occupied by the British Empire for a long time, and the British accent trickled down throughout several generations. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few Indians who adopted Cockney accents.

i HATE advertising like this.. throw a bunch of random characters like an annoying little girl with a vocabulary beyond her years, some guy with a deep voice and a foreign accent, and dopey guy who is the focus of the other two. then they exchange stupid random dialogue in an effort to burn the product into your brain cells. ppl, general mills and the advertising agency who created this commercial want you to know that they think the dopey guy in this commercial is YOU
