The Federal government lists marijuana as a schedule one drug. (schedule one means not legitimate for medical use) Yet over 80% of Americans believe it does have medical uses, and 14 states have legally stated it does have medical uses. I am so tempted to make a funny quip about our Federal Government, but the facts speak for themselves. Hahhahhahahahahahhhahah funny facts.

I will not vote for or against any politician unless they make a stand on Marijuana. Yea baby the third option.

This is how we get the reform we're looking for people, we need to follow the Constitution. All other laws exist below the constitution.

What we need to start doing is pressing for jury nullification, look it up.

We need to quit letting ourself be conned into giving up our constitutional rights.

If the country wants it to be legal it will be legal no matter what the government tells us.

To have that kind of support is huge. I bet a lot of it has to do with how popular marijuana is right now, plus people who don't care one way or another are sick of hearing about it and are finally giving in or are just catching up with reality.

My Dad is 76 years old and a confirmed redneck when it comes to thing like this. The other day I almost fell off my chair when he said they need to legalize marijuana. This is a guy who once tried to get me arrested for having some pot in my bedroom. Luckily it didn't happen because I would still be in jail under the laws at that time. Keep up the good work and we need to go for complete legalization not just medical.

I smoke alot of cannabis and I would probably get mad, or atleast pretty worried, if I find out any of my future children start using marijuana. It's not so much a matter that I'm worried about then getting addicted or sick or anything, that's only if I catch then drinking or using any hard drugs (and I will get very mad at them for that).I guess I wouldn't have a problem smoking with me, or somewhere I know they're safe though.

Nice catch; you did indeed hear sirens! Our little "studio" is actually just a small room in our offices which are on a pretty heavily trafficked road here in DC. Even with several lays of cheap soundproofing over the exposed, street-front windows we'll occasional get a siren, horn, or the low rumble of a diesel engine coming through. :) In any case, we're glad you liked it and we'll have the next episode out soon!

What's most upsetting to me about the history of medical marijuana, was the blatant use of violence, kidnapping, and cruelty upon the weak, and terminally ill. Governments are supposed to protect the weak, and should only use violence to combat violence and protect life and property. But when these DEA people went after passive, non-violent people to push their own ideology, gain revenue, or make a power grab, they discredited justice.

This is a good idea you have here, and you two are very personable. My question on the raid in Colorado is did the DEA come into this lab to deter future testing of marij. The conservatives always point out the lack of testing of the drug. Is the DEA simply putting a stop to this type of research?

They don't have the right to regulate such things, nor should they.

If we went back to following the constitutional model a lot of our current problems would be fixed instantly. (the DEA for one)
