@Chairmaneoin RLRRlRlRRLRRlRRl RLRRlRlRRLRRl-Rl Where lowercase 'l's are ghost notes and capital 'L's are accents. And the hi-fen (-) is a sixteenth note rest. Each pattern is one bar. Pretty damn sure that's correct, I listened to the section at least 20 times.

Keep trying...It will eventually come with more practice. All you odd time signature guys think by playing it correctly means your a master...NO IT DOESN'T. You are NOT hitting right in the the proper areas. Have someone write that down on some tab's for you. Bottomline: Its something that you cant put on paper, you either have it or you don't. Hard to desrcibe and even harder to master. Anyone can bash on drums or master time signatures its how your DYANMICS work !!!

It's a 5 against 4 groove so the best way to spit it up is to consider 20 16th notes split into 4 groups of 5

Snare plays

S---- S---- S---- S----

Kick plays

-K-K- -K-K- -K-K- -K-K-

And China plays

C---C ---C- --C-- -C----

where - is a rest

So snare and Kick play a constant pattern across 5 beats and what swings it is the china which plays every 4th beat. The groove repeats after 20 beats.

If you do know already try playing 5 against 4 with just hands till you get a feel for it

you completely missed the main bassdrum line of the whole second section before it goes hectic. If you listen carefully, is the same pattern that he plays in the intro when he's playing 4 notes on the hat and accenting the cymbals.

ich wollte einfach mal mit nur 3 toms bzw 2 oben und eins an der seite spielen. da kam das ride dann automatisch näher und ich konnte alles ein bisschen kompakter aufbauen.

das classic china ist gerissen. wie mir ein mitarbeiter von thomann berichtete werden die classic chinas auch anscheinend nicht mehr hergestellt!! also pass auf deine gut auf :D
