I still have my Roces. I use to skate with these guys and was part of the FR team. Nick (owner of FR) is still doing good i see him once and a while in Nyc at his wifes restaurant. I use to love skating in Nyc with these guys i do wonder what some are up to.
Funny, there must be like 5,000 copies of this video that in the end reads, "Special thanks to Louis Torres". Guess who that is...!? ;) Then there are tons that has some girl on there but if you look at the credits, look for Louis Torres. Back then I road for Oxygen, Hyper Wheels, Boss Speed Bearings, Blades, Hardline Clothing, Pearl Izumi and some Inline Bag Company from L.A.
I believe that would be "We're Only Gonna Die", off of their first album w/ Roadrunner. You can tell because you can clearly hear "...modern man walked away."
It's funny watching this section because I'm all over the place in it...! Wow...! That was 1995 so 13 years ago...! Cab 540, Jon Ortiz, under the banks rail shooting photos of B-Love. Actually, Kate Gengo doing the Bank Rail was because I helped her that entire morning. She was so cute, nervous and they filmed her like 10 times and finally landed the last one without me in the frame holding my arm out to make sure she didn't kill herself falling...! Hahahaha... That was a funny time....!
Oh man. I used to skateboard and this still brings back the memories. Good times on two wheels, four wheels or eight!
