Real chinese accents replace every "r" with an 'l". But Mrs. Meers replaced every "l" with an "r"

i am trying out for mrs meers in my upcoming musical, and realized my chinese accent is horrible.....i can only really have an accent when coping from like a movie or something like south park which is horrible refferences.

@CherishLaRain One thing to keep in mind when auditioning for the role of Mrs. Meers is that, technically, Meers (Daisy Crumpler) isn't supposed to be a good actress. (She only *thinks* she is.) So, if your accent isn't as spot-on as you'd like it, that's ok, because it doesn't really need to be. Meers is a Caucasian woman, and former actress pretending to be Chinese. So her accent, while it needs to be good, also needs to be rather stereotypical. Hope this info was helpful :)

I think this is really great...but I feel like there was a rough crowd! I saw so many opportunities for laughter that didn't get any reaction!! :( the performance DESERVED reaction!
