Anneke said she wanted to leave the band in March 2007. In the summer of 2007 it was made public, and on 4-5 August 2007, after the Annkarock festival, she left the band. Nightwish's decision for a new vocalist was already made in January 2007. So the timing doesn't match.
Besides that, Anneke left TG because she wanted something else. It would be kind of strange when she would accept an offer from Nightwish, and do a 2,5-year tour with 200-something shows.
simply amazing.... as it was back in 2003 when they choose this song as opener for "Souvenirs"... that minimalistic approach, that alienanting piano chords and the melancony in the melody of her singing... it gives shivers
Cudowny koncert, jaka szkoda, że nie można go obejrzeć w lepszej jakości. Anneke śpiewa po prostu cudownie, nie widziałem lepszego koncertu The Gathering. Po prostu niesamowite, brak słów aby to opisać.

i thought exactly the same thing. nightwish together with tarja and the gathering together with anneke were my favourite bands. taking anneke after tarja left nightwish was the best thing that could happen. but tuomas chose the most stupid. in my opinion.
Great song, great opener. No longer using the Agua de Annique-moniker, Anneke is currently touring her new cd.

Anette sounds like absolute crap... I hate Nightwish now. I just shake my head at what Tuomas did and ask myself WHY.
He's a very smart man when it comes to music so why did he choose someone who can't sing worth crap.
