I just got a 3000 and its actually very light. I got a Sandisk 16GB card to download games via the playstation store....at this point in time Im not getting physical UMD's. This is better than the psp go because of the bigger screen.

Other than that, I don't like the nub placement on the go and I don't like the smaller screen.

@didagoal If your PSP is a bit chunky to hold - 1000, if it's lighter, 2000 and if your PSP has a pit thing in the middle of the D-pad and the Triangle Square OX buttons, 3000, if the screen slides, PSP Go or you gotta buy a new one.

Who else hates the idea of the slide out controls of the PSPGo? I hope they don't plan on replacing the PSP with the PSPGo because I'm planning to buy a PSP after I save up enough money (halfway there :D). The only issue I have with the PSP is it's lack of games and popularity. IMO, it blows the Nintendo DS out of the water, but somehow it doesn't get enough buyers and, as a result, calls for less games. Happy gaming. :)

yeahhh it is only if its on firmware 5.03 anything above cant be curently hacked im able to run isos on it using chickhen and cfw enabler. i just finished playing ftb2 on my 3000 the response time is quick as fuck and trust me yull notice it, and the colours stand out much more it jjust has alot more life to it. my psp 1000 just lays there ill use it if anything goes wrong with my 1000
