Watching you make this and just feeding off your sublime mellowness is actually making me pretty mellow as well! Add to that the fact that as I'm watching you do all this I'm having some loose-leaf green tea with 400mg of L-Theanine stirred in. Yeah, I'm pretty much floating on a cloud now.
Very interesting. When you say you "cook" the herbs/berries for 2 hours, what temperature are you cooking them at? should it be boiling, simmering, or just warming? Thank you for posting this and all your insightful videos.
@kanhdahar2 from time to time i use ginseng. not too much tho as it is a bit more pricey. i have a ginseng extract on hyperion herbs that i play around with a lot.
Awesome, I have been taking tonic herbs for about 2 years now & cooking up schizandra berries for awhile now & I was planning to get dendrobium & asparagus tomorrow to go with my Schizandra and figured i'd research a lil more tonight and came across your video... Its great to see others on the Tonic Chinese Herbs path... You my friend, have inspired me to get a rice cooker to prepare my herbs (AWESOME IDEA!!!) I'm going to also incorporate Dan Shen and build from there more personal recipes!!
Brandon, can you recommend any tea or tonic for recovery after surgery? I had dental implant surgery 2 days ago and I need something antiinflamatory, antibacterial, etc.

@Natalyaandall i would go for the medicinal mushrooms. reishi, cordyceps, chaga, etc.
