  • This music reminds me of the better times of Pokemon, except this music is better. >w<

  • THIS IS STUPID 8^y

  • He have liftoff! Pchooooooooooo!

  • I'm not sure but I think someone said that this song is "Showtime" in the major key. Which would be awesome.

  • SOARIN' OVER SKAIA

  • I love listening to these songs. You can hear the influence they've all had on each other. Like, in this one, I hear a little bit of 'Do You Remem8er Me.'

  • @RomanianVampyre Or rather that song draws on this one, which is more fodder for my inner John<3Vriska shipper. All the musical interactions are brilliantly done, like how Showtime and Harlequin are used for John's leitmotif with remixes to show how he develops, or how Descend draws from just about every major motif used so far. The music is one of my favorite things about Homestuck

  • into the SKY....

    cloun

  • reminds me of zelda

  • THE REASON WHY THESE SONGS AREN'T ON ITUNES:

    It would crash iTunes.

  • 8^y

  • I think all airplanes should have this song playing when you leave.

This is an amazing song, though...

  • Reminds me a lil of the Super Smash Bros song,,,

  • We have...LIFDOFF

  • @TORchic1 we have

    LIFDOFF

  • This music makes me feel like I'm flying. This is phenomenal. completely, utterly phenomenal.

  • DO THE WINDY THING!

  • Reminds me of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon's Sky Tower mixed with Sky Fortress from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. But that's just my inner nerd speaking.

  • @raiu632 Yeah it sounds like a PMD song. I could imagine it as either a sort of blue cave or a sky area. Probably in Explorers of Time/Darkness more than the Red+Blue Resque Team games though~

  • This reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy music.

  • This song is so heroic. It makes me want to cry and save galaxies all at once.

  • This reminds me of all the old computer games I played as a kid.

Whoever wrote this piece, thank you.

  • LEVEL UP!

    John got tiger!

John can now use wind powers!

John learned how to fly a car!

    WV became mayor!

WV: I HAVE SURPASSED YOU, GOOD SIR.

  • Wait a fucking second, the little tune in the beginning?

Holy shit, that reminds me of Heroes of Might and Magic III :D

And the song over all reminds me of a didney movieh

  • As I was reaching the ending of a book the cheerfull old man that acted as a foster grandfather to the 3 kids dies and this played on my mp3.

    Manly fucking tears ;-;

  • Unreal Air should be somewhere in this picture.

  • he have...

    LIFDOFF

  • Looks like someone did the windy thing.

  • Daww... cute song!

  • ;u; Love. So. Much.

  • This fits John so well. It's the sound of hope and happiness, like you're flying. Beautiful.

  • All I can think of while listening to this song is Sweet Bro and Jeff sitting in a car, with John driving it with his wind powas above Skaia.

And for some reason it is hilarious.

  • Like this isn't Bro's song into heaven or whereever he went.

  • Definitely makes me think of Zelda. One of my favorites on the album (who am I kidding, they are all my favorite)

  • It's too bad that we don't hear that many remixes of Showtime anymore.

I just hope that at least a sample of it slips into the song accompanying the final flash...if there is one.

  • Beautiful track! I LOVE the orchestral touch, and I think for a lot of people it might sound nostalgically reminiscent of the background music to an old RPG of a name they've forgotten, or perhaps even a heroic montage in a film. Definitely one of my favourites in the album. <3

  • @DelitaH197 ...

well I like this song more now.

  • If Homestuck were a game, this would be the song for the cloud/sky area, featuring puzzles that involve using John's wind manipulation abilties, such as blowing a platform cloud over towards a wall, so the next area could be accessed.

...that could just be the inner level designer in me, though.

  • @eviltwilight Why would he use his wind powers to move a platform, when he can use them to fly?

  • @MrArbitary maybe it is so his buddies can ge to the next area without him having to carry them.

  • @MrArbitary Because VIDEO GAME LOGIC, THAT'S WHY.

  • @eviltwilight

Please, let out your inner level designer, and make it happen!

I will jerk many buckets full of tears if you do.

    ...

    uhm...

    i mean...um....not buckets...because, uhm....

    shit.

  • @BlueBoyX4 *in desperate need of towels*

  • @eviltwilight *gives you hat with "PRODUCER" on it*

Get to work! Make the monies (and fans happy)!

  • @eviltwilight ...that...that would be amazing. I'd love to see a game like that. :D

  • Sounds like Airship music from an old RPG. Awesome song.

  • IN TO THE SKY

  • Amazing track

    Reminds me of Zelda
