  • @r8pal Yes.

  • @johnbu1981 being shirtless gives you power

  • He's so brainwashed... "chest press... i mean chess pass" lol

  • Could you tell me please. I would like to build mussel. How often I should to push ups?Is once a week good work out good enough or shell I do 3 times a week?Seems like three times a week to soon for mussel recovery.

  • not taking advice from a man with no chest

  • Pfft big deal I could do that... I just don't want to.

  • 3:12

  • VIDEO is great, accurate and good info..but Chris, you didn`t invent rhomboid pushups ;)

  • @MissEmilyy16 good for you!

  • It's actually called a diamond pushup and it was invented by coach cowell.

  • i almost broke my fucking nose doing this stupid routine...

  • he makes it sound so easy!

  • Wow Good workout Dude. Nice.

  • Can you do push ups everyday?

  • @REVkingtremain yes but depends what you want them for if your begining you could do a 5 light sets of what ever feels comfortable spread out throughout the day on weekdays and rest weekends and after about 2 or 3 weeks your numbers will be alot higher, what are you doing the pushups for though ?

  • @cavandanny I want to get lean.

  • @REVkingtremain just cut out sugar and caffeine completly and do press ups and triceps dips and lunges and squats that will strengthen most of your muscles and the caffeine and sugar foods and drinks will help you loose body fat if you get a bit more serious after a few weeks do some interval training and eat 4-6 meals instead of 3 this will boost your metabolism and youll loose more bodyfat and keep muscle

  • I'm a Ford model lets do push ups

  • Hi .. my name is Chris Comfort .. reallly

  • 185 people can't do a push up

  • Great video!

  • wanna swap muscles?

  • thanks!

  • chris comfort has a false name.UNLIKE MOST OF US

  • "Chris Comfort is stronger than most of us" Bitch please, what a baseless statement to begin a description with.

  • @Doodleedeedoodleedoo

    Damn right, Pickles.

If you want intense bulk, go Bench press.

If you want tone, do some damned pushups. And alot of them.

    I do both 0.o

  • @Deathtrocian Allright ...., cucumber?...

I wasn’t really asking for advice, but it’s always good to see another person who's hitting it hard, keep it up :)

  • @Doodleedeedoodleedoo

who cares man, he's modeling bro lol.....which means powerlifting or body building routines won't get you girls kid lol............i defend other models like myself

  • @MrVanity111 I respect every goal and ambition one is striving to achieve, whether I agree with it or not.

What bothered me is how this starting the introduction with such a presumptuous prejudice, especially if you're in the position of teaching one another.

My comment was a bit bald but I didn’t mean to offend or troll you or anybody, just the wrong judgemental attitude it was impersonating.

  • What's the time for rest between each type of push-up?

  • a musician and a bodybuilder? what a hunk!

  • this dude talks to damn much

  • @Chris - Great routine and variation.

@kingdasarulez - I did push ups on my fists during karate training. Not the most effective way to train. Impossible to introduce variation in the routine with fist planted squarely on floor and causes early wrist fatigue. Push up bars are certainly not a capital trick but a great way to allow for a more varied and effective routine. keywords: VARIED and EFFECTIVE

  • @welshsteve2009 fists allow variation and effectivness...and doing them on your fists strengthens your wrists!!!

  • @kingdasarulez - hmm, I think you missed the point.

Of course it strengthens the wrists but as far as variation is concerned... well, not easy to do all of the push up variations on fists.

Easy to do standard push ups on fists but try with arms wide apart or out in font or in toward stomach.

There is not enough flexibility in the wrist to perform these routines, just try it and you'll see what I mean.

  • @welshsteve2009 yeah you're right, but the point is that nowadays everyone tries to sell unnecessary equipment and supplement but they all just want your money!!!

hungarian weightlifters show, that you can achieve athletic supremacy without a high-tec gym...all they have are barbells!!!

and you could also do the wide ones on your palms with your fingertips pointing outwards!!!

  • this guys bogus and he doesnt know what hes doing, people when you do any work out do it quick not slow. When you go slow your giving your mucles more time to fill up with latic acid, it doesn't do anymore then a fast push up but tire you out. AND very important that retard did not invert his "tricep push up" hes a tool and he hasnt gotten anywhere, last part he prolly does steroids

  • Model, Musician, Personal Trainer, shit I would fuck him and im straight as an arrow

  • chest breast 1:50

  • I'm 5" 11' (181cm) and weigh 75kg (11.8stone);

how much bigger can my biceps and triceps get doing this exercise on its own?

  • don't buy these stupid pushup bars, they're just another capitalist trick! do them on your fists

  • @kingdasarulez Couldn't have said it any better.

  • no they are really good

  • @abutsonga8292 what makes them superior to your fists???

  • @kingdasarulez man, push ups fuck up your wrists major. push up bars aren't a bad idea.

  • @conthemon i didn't have problems with my wrists yet...

and i also think that nobody missed them before they were invented!!!

  • @kingdasarulez wrong. you do actually get more range with pushup bars. as he said, you get a deeper pushup, which actually helps a lot.

  • @xde0mega well, then do them on bricks...

  • @kingdasarulez what about on blocks of cheese? is that okay?

  • @xde0mega yeah, that's fine :D

  • @kingdasarulez nahh just do it with your dumbells

  • @mChLLL64 true...dumbells are a way better investment

  • @kingdasarulez or the dumbbells you may already own! lol

  • @kingdasarulez The desire to 'look good' and to be muscular is in itself a capitalist trick.

  • @Slapbass13 you need to explain that...

  • @kingdasarulez thats not true i have pushup bars and it makes u go deeper into your pushup and adds grip strength. if you do pushups on your fists itll fuck up your wrist after awhile because your knuckles are uneven.

  • @TheRealityKing12 as i allready mentioned...use bricks or pieces of furniture...

  • @kingdasarulez Push ups are easier to do on bars, you can go lower and it doesn't damage your wrists

  • @kingdasarulez THEY ARE GREAT BRO!

  • @kingdasarulez they are only 10 bucks on amazon... geez

  • @kingdasarulez press ups on your knuckles does damage on the wrong surface or the wrong person. My old boss always went on about knuckle push up ....he had knuckles like a damn crocodile .

  • where do we get the handles?

  • @420swisha420 look at the comment i posted below!

if you don't agree google pushup bars :)

  • Bench > pushup. Always.

  • @kdeadlulz Depends on what you're goals are.

  • @thisisyoukkthx No it doesn't. The only thing doing lots of push ups is good for is to get better at doing lots of push ups. For upper body strength, bench. For upper body mass, bench. For upper body pushing power, bench. And when supplemented with the other big lifts (deadlift, squat, power clean, overhead press) you have a combo that is simply unbeatable. Push ups are a waste of time.

  • @kdeadlulz You are LAYING DOWN WHEN YOU BENCH!! How many times are laying down when you push something?! Do tire flips. You deadlift the (what, 200, 300lbs, those giant tires) tire then push it forward. Very good. better than lying down and putting your abs to sleep!!

  • @poodleman4321 better yet, flip tractor tires. (at your own risk though)

  • @poodleman4321 If you don't engage your abs when you bench, then you don't know how to bench.

  • @kdeadlulz I've heard that. But i think the Incline press uses a lot more Abs.

  • @poodleman4321 I don't see how. On an incline bench your ass is glued square into the right angle of the bench. On a flat bench you can arch your back (keeping your glutes on the bench) and push with your glutes/hamstrings while you retract your shoulderblades and create a nice lordotic curve. It's known as a powerlifting style of bench and uses up a lot more muscle mass, and more effectively, than the bench style most people do at the gym. It's easier on the shoulders and elbows as well.

  • @kdeadlulz Gymnasts who do full Planche pushups can usually do a double bodyweight bench press on their first try! The weight might not be a lot if the gymnast weighs a little, but's that strength going from a pushup to double a bodyweight bench press. I've never heard of someone who benches twice their bodyweight, do even something remotely close to a planche pushup. If you didn't know, a planche pushup is a pushup while using hands/arms only. No legs. PLANCHE pushups really engage your abs.

  • @poodleman4321 You're missing the point. Gymnasts who do full planche pushups did not get there from doing pushups. They got to that level of strength from doing gymnastics and quite possibly adding weightlifting routines to increase their strength to a level that was required in their discipline. If we really want to talk about full body exercises that develop the strength and responsiveness of the entire musculoskeletal system and the nerve system that supports it, push ups... lol.

  • @kdeadlulz Ok maybe, maybe push ups are inferior to the bench. but we can agree that cleans, squats and deadlifts are supreme

  • why does he chest look like upside down volcanos? I'm avoiding this exercise.

  • @kauweloakauweloa Muscle shape is largely genetic and has little to do with exercises performed.

  • what is the best pushup workout routine, built over week, to build muscle and definition? Plz help

  • u look like a jason bateman LOL

  • hey

  • his chest looks all fuked up so im not doing those dumb push ups!!!!!

  • his chest looks all fuked up so im not doing those dumb push ups!!!!!

  • How tall are you? I'm afraid if I do this I wont grow tall anymore? any suggestions?

  • @tedemon2

your right you shouldnt do this workout, it will stunt your growth.

  • @tedemon2 im 6 ft 2" and im just coming up to my 16th birthday so im not worried about growth, however chances are this work out will stop your growth some what so dont try if you wish to keep growing

  • @mccahill124 Either you have been fed some misinformation or you are making an assumption. Exercising does not keep you from growing. It helps build your muscles. I really wonder where the hell you got that from or if you just pulled that out of your ass. That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard.

  • @thepalmetto I did not "pull it out my ass" its just warnings ive heard

  • @mccahill124 They did not know what they were talking about. Exercising does not keep you from growing. Probably the most outlandish thing I've heard in a while.

  • Take the push-up challenge at Konkura.com

  • heavy weight at the gym for me. The main thing he should add is food..eat to gain muscle, no eat no muscle.

  • @THEJEDEYEMASTER Bullshit, I gained muscle just fine by working out.

  • @NoComment0531

Do you mean workout the way Chris does?

question is how much muscle, in how much time.Heavy weights is what shocks your body forcing it to get stronger and bigger. It also depends on what your goal is. I want get as be as I can, so push ups and situps don't cut it. My workout periods consist of the5x5 and hit training.

Diet is more important though. btw, do you grow muscles when you work out?

The most important this is to be consistent and you'll

  • I do 45-50 push ups every day (regular push ups) and when im doing them it feels like my left arm isn't doing as much as my right arm any suggestions

  • @ArchHavick blood pumps to left side first.

  • @ArchHavick stop pounding the old sauseege, your hand will join the other one in your ass soon enough. Your gay hero in the video, sadly will never be you.

  • @ArchHavick me too dude cuz its because u got more strenthg on your rigbht arm

  • Funny, when he said it keeps the wrist aligned he is totally right. Old time boxers used to punch with there wrist in vertical fashion due to correct structure. Nowadays they used jabs and there hands are in incorrect positions for punching. so much for evolution. The only good thing out of boxing is fitness. But they need to go back to old time punching, more power, scientific punching.

  • seems like a nice man.

  • I wouldnt say he is strongrt than most of us...js more cut...thats it. Strength doesnt come from just muscles. Its just an add on

  • This guy is right! slow pushups or one of the best. ifn't the best?

  • thumbs up if you think PUSHUP IS THE HARDEST WORKOUT EVER!!

  • @JuventusAAR no

  • not very manly, dont take advise for a fukin model.. go see how boxers and ufc fighters do pushups.. scared of hurting his hands and wirsts, fag

  • @alaa13666 thats irrelevant

  • @Duffweiserable you dont know what your talking about son... go youtube pushups drills for combat sports.

  • @alaa13666 if you were a musician, you'd understand where he's coming from. UFC fighters and boxers are conditioned to fight. He just stays in shape.

  • @Lebel92 i am actually a musician haha AND a boxer , so i prefare conditioning.

  • @gabfish16

    bitch

  • from where can you buy these handles???

  • Those tricep push ups with your fist together are so much harder than they look! Respect to you mate. What instrument do you play?

  • I got the same accessories to do push ups !

  • I appreciate the useful tips!

  • he should do more upper pec because his pecs are ugly

  • @gabfish16 i bet his pecks are far much better thn urs!!!

  • @basemjs ehhh noo

  • my body is better than him. *spit*

  • i have no knees.. wat do i do then

  • @danielloughney hand-stand push ups.

  • @danielloughney really?

  • @danielloughney lol he was bein frank

  • @danielloughney u go & eat some doge shit...it should help you with your handicap...

  • wat u get out of a push up? bigger muscles or waaaa?

  • @chargerboy411 push ups are a standard of everything you can do with your upper body. doing 10 a day wont do anything but fight off muscle apathy. but if you did do sets of these and other variants you can find online everyday, yes you will develop strength and build lean muscle (and i strees the term lean because no you wont pack on the pounds with pushups alone unless your cranking out thousands a day)

  • at 1:50 my understanding before this is hes talking about the twitch muscles right? i want to get into air soft and i really want to get my engaging or aiming down the sight speed down to a quick aim.

  • I do hand free push ups using just my pecs.

  • this workout is amazing and i guess reall helpfull

  • best push up work out video ive ever seen.

  • lol ur 6 pack is side ways a little bit..xD

  • That a Real Man Body!!

  • Just FYI....a proper push-up does not involve straightened elbows....you are to keep them slightly bent to minimize stress and strain on the elbow joints.

  • Can i do this routine 5 times a week???

  • @arturocas90 No, you gotta have at least a rest day. Do it on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and take the weekend off. That will give your muscles time to recover and give you the best results.

  • face down? don't think so buddy! you're weak

  • Finally someone that knows whats up

  • I want a body like that.

  • will it be okay even if i don't have those handles?

  • Great video very informative.

  • thanks for the tips man

  • Comment removed

  • Your "tricep" pushup you "invented" is a modified version of the diamond pushup. Infact it would be easier because a. you "do it on your knees" and b. you have less range of motion due to your chest hitting closed fists opposed from flat hands that diamond push ups involve. Great explanations :)

  • chris comfort is stronger than most of us? ha i think not wow he told u guys how to do an eccentric lowering and a fast explosive conccentric lift ooooo big deal who doesn't know that? i guarantee i do jiu jitsu and nothing NOTHING makes you stronger than grappling no excersise can get your adrenaline working which is how you really work out

  • holy shit hes skinny

  • Oh god , he Explains it so well!!! Thanks For upload , I didn't know about the Blast thing At the end

  • i think i have the same pushup handles as him :)

  • sexy chris

  • I've been doing triceps push-ups since grade 4 so I'm just going to go ahead and take your credit 20 years earlier than you, thank you.

  • Hah. You're right, I did not "invent" the triceps push-ups. But what I am doing that's different than most of what I've seen, is that my elbows and forearms touch down almost before my body does. In most cases, this exercise is done with the elbows up, which makes it a very different effort. And between editing and time constraints, my statement is not very accurate. So your point is well taken.

    Chris

  • @chriscomfortfitness I looked closer...I see what you mean. Not to detract from your video, this video alone will reshape A LOT of people's bodies and teach them about real "failure" and REAL fatigue.

These exercises completed to failure each time will benefit even advanced bodybuilders, so thank you for the video.

I must've been in one heck of a mood when I posted...I'll be careful to just walk away from the keyboard next time :|

  • Hah. You're right, I did not "invent" the triceps push-ups. But what I am doing that's different than most of what I've seen, is that my elbows and forearms touch down, and then my body "collapses" on top of my arms. In most cases, this exercise is done with the elbows up or the body doesn't touch down, which makes it a very different effort. And between editing and time constraints, my statement is not very accurate. So your point is well taken.

    Chris

  • @How2Q if your really 13 can u message me?

  • @Quincy - You do everything on your knees!

  • lets rock n roll. gain some muscle and lose some frickin weight

  • i've got more abs than you(10) (not a joke)

  • How often should this workout be done?
