  • Dude, this is the most beautiful piece I've ever heard! How long have you been playing? I saw this just as I was picking up classical guitar and I'd love to learn how to play this. Is this too difficult to be the first song I learn how to play? Do you have any suggestions of first songs?

  • @dudeethatsrad - First of all, thanks for watching! I've been playing for 30 years on and off. This piece is rated Grade 4 in the Carnegie Hall-RCM syllabus. That's typically fairly difficult for a beginner but you could just download the sheet music and try it. I don't know your background (steel string?) so it's tough to

    say. How about #1 or #2 from Sor Op44? They are both Grade 2 RCM and quite a bit easier. I did a version of them on Youtube also with a link to free sheet. Cheers!
