Yes this would coat a walnut and not be sticky. Unless it is humid out, then all candy becomes sticky. Plus I would only pour a little of the caramel over a few nuts at a time and toss well.

May I ask if the caramel would turn hard a c cover ?
As I want to use this receipt for walnut!
But I couldn't find a receipt which can coat the walnut hard and non-sticky!
