  • @sanjeevkapoorkhazana - I will this weekend! I use to cook lots of curry dishes before and am introducing my daughters to this delicious spice now. I am taking baby steps with them as they haven't learned to appreciate new foods yet.

  • Do try the recipe and let us know how you liked it.

  • Hey Thanks for this video. I was wondering whether u added some water to the dal while grinding it. If you did, then how much did u add. I have a similar mixer and i tried these vadas with no success. The ground paste had the whole dal pieces too, which were not ground to paste! I didnt add more water than the amount i had used because i was afraid of ruining the consistency of the batter. It would be great to know the amount of water you added for the amount of dal you used for this recipe. Thx

  • The consistency of the batter should neither be too thick nor too thin. Do try out the recipe and let us know how you like the recipe .

  • which brand mixer are you using?

  • There are a variety of blenders available in market. Know your need, understand the features and select the best one.

  • They look gorgious! Right, need to get some black gram from somewhere. Don't surpose I can use Gram flour (I've got tons of that).

  • You can not use gram flour. Do try out the recipe and let us know how you lke it.
