i did the whole process correctly and it never installed the installer but it gave me that pinapple and now i cant restore my ipod on itunes WHAT SHOULD I DO PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Unplug your device, then hold down the home button and the Sleep/Power button (on top) at the same time for around 30 seconds (keep holding even through the apple logo) until you see the connect to iTunes logo. This is called DFU mode. Now simply connect to iTunes, and restore. I'd also recommend then updating to 2.2, and using the latest version of QuickPwn.

You have Spinning wheel of death. Put into dfu Mode (hold down power and home buttons for around 20 secs until you see connect to itunes) then restore

's only if you jailbreak and Unlock it, and that can't be done on 2.0.

hi :) i think i may have done something wrong. when i try to turn my ipod back on, it just stays at the apple logo and doesn't turn on. So far, itunes hasn't recognized it so i can't restore it. Do have any suggestions?

hey i tried this method but after i finished the quickpwn setup there was a my Ipod's screen was blank for the pineapple and a loading circle then it switched to a connect to itunes screen. What did I do wrong to make this happen?

when i do the command prompt bit, the program keeps saying it isnt responding and i have to close it

i think this could be because i havnt restored my ipod yet, but thats because when i go to restore it it starts downloading the latest update and this says the download is going to take 7hours!! lol

i dont wna waste my time downloading it if i dont need it..

any recommendations?

Also, I tried upgrading to 2.0.2 and it won't upgrade. The screen has been on the screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel for quite a long time with the computer screen saying "waiting for iPod"

Good video, but I would suggest using a screen capture program because a dark line kept taking up most of the screen for the video.

Hypercam is a pretty good one. I believe it is free too.

I would use screen capture, but then i can't show you things with my touch at the same time. im supposed to be getting an lcd screen soon, so that will fix the line.
