I have always found Yamaha drum kits to be more reliable with a better build quality. I would definitely recommend the DTX500 kit. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.
Hello, I bought the DTX 500. I also bought a MIDI to USB cable and I plugged it but It seems my computer doesn't play sounds as if it didn't recognize it. Help me please.
Last year i purchased a Yamaha DTXplorer i am very very happy with the kit. Looking at these new features a really want to get this apdated module. Is there anyway i can just purchase the module to use my old kit.
Amazing demo of the drum kit. I just ordered this recently, but am wondering how I can record the tracks I play onto my computer. It's great that I can record it on the module and play it back, but how can I play it back onto my computer? Any help would be appreciated. I'm confused about the MIDI output. Thank you so much.
Hi, glad you enjoyed our demo. You have two options...you can record audio or midi. By taking the audio outputs of the module and connecting to the inputs of your computer's sound card, you can record your performance. The MIDI out would allow you to send MIDI note data to a sequencer or drum program. However, you won't be able to play back into the module..no MIDI input. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.
Glad you enjoyed the demo. Yes, the DTX700 series is available and we have all three kits in stock! I'm hoping to have the video demo for the DTX700 series posted in a couple of days. Thanks for watching!
Yes, using the MIDI out port on the DTX500 would allow you to control any software instrument or trigger samples from your DAW. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. Thanks for watching!
