not to try to put someone else in this guy's spotlight, but i remember my friend showing me this metal band -pretty sure they're Brazilian- called Shaman and their singer's voice is pretty powerful too, not to mention the music driving them is pretty sweet, heh

Really that's better than me. My whistle register is poor, to say the least. Though I can get E6 in falsetto, which I am quite happy that I've never lost. I can just get crazily high in whistle register, but with poor technique and I'm probably doing untold amounts of damage to my vocal chords :P but so far I'm fine!

Those are the Chinese equivalent of having "....ahhhhhhhh" across the bottom of the screen. In this instance, they don't mean anything. They just represent the sound "ah."

That's totally within the normal tessitura for a high counter-tenor.

It's not a woman's voice or synthesized at all.

Many performing counter-tenors (David Daniels and Aris Christofellis soar beyond this) can sing much more fluently in the range he's really pushing to hit.

He does have a high tenor voice though so I'm sure he has the ability to reach C6 using falsetto. There are some male singers out there that can reach up to C6 using falsetto so I don't really see the big fuzz. If that's ALL he can do he'll get nowhere outside of Russia.

Hmmmmm....when he gets to the high part, the voice sounds awfully electronic/synthesized. I'd have to hear it live to believe it, sorry:( I was a professional boy-soprano when I was a teenager, and my voice didn't sound like that. Just an observation.
