What a fag whoever made this video. The cyclone mascot is a cardinal because it represents the school color from the colors CARDINAL and gold. They got their nickname cyclones because they were underdogs in the '30s to northwestern and dominated them and a newspaper posted a headline saying 'Struck by a CYCLONE'. It all makes sense. So shut the hell up. Iowans don't inbreed idiot, that's just a stereotype for the south.
