Police would have not been in riot gear if the situation did not call for it. Plenty of the SFPD attend demonstrations in normal duty wear, they deemed it necessary to wear riot gear. This video was actually from a Police file, the man in the video had kidnapped the child and he was attempting to escape through the crowd. The boy was safely returned to his family. This criminal had extensive record he was sentenced to life in prison.

This video was actually from a Police file, the man in the video had kidnapped the child and he was attempting to escape through the crowd. The boy was safely returned to his family. This criminal had extensive record he was sentenced to life in prison.

Trust me a cop is not going to do that unless the asshole did something. 2nd, no one is denying people's right to protest but when they start infringing on other people rights then that something else(blocking traffic, yelling at bystanders,etc). Police should have used heavy pepper spray on the rioters that cause disruption of the american way of living. Do your protesting in the parks not blocking streets while people who don't want any part of this protest to go to work freely without having streets blocked.
