  • imagine ele fazendo isso no RHCP? oh my..

  • soul healing

  • maggot brain..look it up.

  • @1ZosoLZ I noticed that too!!! Is that inspiration for this song or something?

  • @krace89 probably lol. sooo similar

  • John Frusciante i love your music, thanks my friends

  • this kicks ass.. it shows why he left the peppers. just beautiful

  • rhcp with john: amazing. simply amazing.

rhcp without john: amazing, Klinghoffer fucking rocks, he has an amazing background voice, and "im with you" is amazing.

john solo: fantastic, he really does what he loves, and you can hear it, you can feel it by just listening to his music, there is no doubt that he is happy with his solo music.

stop whining about him leaving the red hot. grow up

  • our dear mister Frusciante brings me to tears, almost every time, especially this one... I rarely cry for songs. I get emotions but I don't cry. But anyway those are good tears. There are certain things in this world that worth crying for <3

  • the bends he creates speak more than a thousand words combined..

  • @Nuttbuster agree. when you watch him play he always twists his body and opens his mouth as he bends as if he's just screaming out all his emotions. such a soulful musician

  • im a big fan of the red hot chili peppers. but i must say that they are not great without john.in other hand john's music has changed a lot.i particulary dislike his solo music.

john come back to red hot. they need you as good as you need them

  • @rrzc23 obviously ur not a true fan of either one. he's good without them, they're good without him, and they kick ass together. keep rockin' john!!! and the peppers!!!

  • beautiful song..

  • Eruption of feelings.

  • this shit is cash

  • Beautiful<3

  • Technique only impresses me in so far as I can appreciate the difficulty in obtaining great technical proficiency. After that more usually less.

  • This song combined with my homegrown took me somewhere out of this fucking dimension.

  • @raultejedor that made me laugh my balls off. too funny.

  • all i here is a fuckadelic-maggot braIN solo out of Em haha..love dis song tho

  • are u sure john isnt bucket head?

  • John the last legend....

  • @lepaulada - John has out grown RHCP. Its become a formula, and he's tired of it. Only Flea can keep up with John. Chad, for God sake is playing with an all out crap band Chickenfoot aka Chickenbones, he sucks. He's better off with Poison, Cinderella, Motley Crue crap bands like that, you get the drift. Anthony should continue taking singing lessons and do a Punk/Rap album.

  • @brainkaperz I wouldn't say Chad sucks, his dums match the songs of the Peppers, however, I totally agree on the Flea part, him an John should make a dozen new albums, I would pay al lot to hear John and Flea together for a lot of new songs :)

  • I like eddies verison better

  • @Hardtack444 ooh... I hate to say it, but although maggot brain influenced this song as heavily as one can influence another, this is NOT a version of maggot brain.

  • anyone know any other songs like this and maggot brain? im really into this with no vocals and everything if u could help that would be grea thanks

  • @777wigwam777 there's another song by john thats called 23 go into end, its really good

  • @777wigwam777 mmmm maybe you should listen buckethead no vocals and very good guitar playing

  • @ pitirijas117 OMFG

    no feeling in bucketheads lpaying

    just technical ability

  • @Hardtack444

pitirijas is right man. check out soothsayer, electric tears or whitewash (which is better in the live version)

  • hahahaha

    I agree

  • John, you are an endless source of inspiration.

I have much love and respect for everything you do THANK YOU for sharing your beautiful music with the rest of the world..

  • humm... its hard for me to choose one...

  • i like this song...not your usual one

  • this is the best song i heard a long time....

  • every one has their own opinions. if you get thumbed down for that then people are just a bunch of douche bags.

  • As we say in my country, opinions is like assholes. Everyone has one but no one care for the other's.

  • pfft, I don't know if I should laugh at that one.

  • You know you're onto something really good when you can repeat the same riff for 9 and a half minutes and not even get close to being sick of it......amazing. unbelievable riff.

  • Great Song! John Frusciante is a realy great man !

  • Great song !

  • What an amazing guitarists been a fan for years but this is very cosmic!!!!!!!!

  • Like i've read somewhere,

A good musician can show his feelings in a song

A great musician can let other people feel and think out their own feelings in a song...

I'm a huge metal fan, but still... together with Buckethead, John Frusciante are the worlds best musicans in my opinion.

  • is*

  • @TomSLPKNT sorry buckethead have only technique, you really listen to much music still to understand

and the intro of this song is the same of little wing solo (Jimi Hendrix has influenced much john)

  • @TomSLPKNT thank you so much! i thought i was the only one in the world (sarcasm) :D Buckethead is my idol and John is my favorite songwriter :) FINALLY i've found a soulmate !

  • He told that he wrote this song after listening to maggot Brain.

  • when did he wrote it??? i mean, im sure, he had to listen it a long time ago.

  • Amazing!

  • This song is amazing, seriously, I listened to the whole song and when it was over it semmed like it had only been like 3 minutes but it was like 9 minutes. This is truly an instrumental masterpiece. John Frusicante is my favorite guitarist, favorite soloist and most importantly in my favorite band the

    RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS.

  • this song sounds like the guitarist is making sweet love with his guitar and they both are enjoying every second of it =P

  • MAGGOT BRAIN, BEFORE THE BEGINNING, and NOVEMBER HOTEL, three coolest guitar jams man.

  • Thanks for the tip off....those songs are epic!

  • Anytime

  • win^^

  • is this man a human?

  • no... plain and simple

  • amazing and I'can't say anymore

  • more like eddie hazel, this song and the whole album is amazing

  • he said that he has stayed up all night with friends just listening to music when he showed maggot brain to a freind, and they listened to it over and over. so john thought it would be a good idea to do a kind of homage to it, kind of a cover.

  • so much passion here

  • it is not like hendrix..slower, more for your soul than for your brain

  • beautiful as always!

  • so many feelings ... one word : WOW *___*

  • i love it, it's just so beautiful! ^^

    nothing more to say?? xD

  • let's have sex and listen

    2 this song!

  • this is actually closer to eddie hazel than hendrix

  • Yeah the percussion in this sounds very similar to "Maggot Brain".

  • Comment removed

  • Och... Ja też :)

  • It sounds like the beautiful melodies escaping with the oxygen bubbles after free willy jumped the rock wall

    frulove forever into eternity

  • Dude that was a special moment......

  • So so beautiful, he is a god.....

  • woot, 5000th hit

  • wow, what a tribute to hendrix's sound innovation

  • ta płyta jest niesamowita !

  • I spróbuj ją znaleźć u nas :PP

  • eh...

Dupa.

  • Jedna z lepszych piosenek na płycie. Frusciante do polski!!!

  • I buy the album.....because I love the greatest guitarist of all time....

  • so people can hear them & realize how amazing he is & go out and buy his album

  • orgasm.....

  • too right

    we love you John! <3

    haha ;p

  • ah !

    Kochamy Gooo !

  • Polska KOCHA FRUSCIANTE!!! :)

  • wszyscy jesteśmy z Polski? ''commentatorzy"

  • love

  • best intro ever!

  • Epic

  • I love the feedback control with the tremolo... Very JF-ish

  • i can hear the z-vex...great instrumental tune...

  • @Thmscr Which pedal? I'm curious what he used for the pre-attack.

  • Intro is sort of like maggot brain... but the rest is amazing and original in my opinion!

  • I think that, this is the best one, from frusciante's new album:)

  • this solos are pretty like many from SA and the moment 5:15 is like little wing just a little part xD but im still thinking this is great, cuz thats his style...

  • Oh my God,I love it!

  • It comes from the SPIRITS , really from other space !!!

Thanks so much for the album!!!!

  • It comes from his soul..i don't know where was John after Blood Sugar, but sure he is a Saint now..a really one.I'm a buddhist, and can tell you true,he has take all the 70's bands tune and make a classic of the 2009

  • This... is so beautiful, it takes me to another world.

  • Reminds me of track 1 of maggot brain. nice

  • it is indeed,it also has Cat Stevens, and many other bands from the 70's tune, like Van Der Graaf Generator,Caan,Deep Purple etc,but he has take it to the 2009,just as Jimy Page did with Willie Dixon in Led Zep I.

  • The songs are almost identical! I didn't even notice till you said it, and I have listened to Maggot Brain alot.

  • ye but it's a totally different chord schedule. the easyness, rythm and rest that lies within is what I believe that makes it look like maggot brain (okay the 1st note he plays to) but so sweet,it's totéally different and cool!^^ floris, how did u get all these vids?

    grts

  • After the first minute the song has a totally different awe-inspiring feel. I love both but I've been playing this one a lot lately.

  • omg i love you!

  • this is unbelievable, i love it
