At our local recycling, they have people on Community Service sorting from what people put in recycling. We MUST recycle. Yes, what's not recyclable gets thrown in the trash, and a large group of us are bitching to get our recycling upgraded. Especially now that we have to buy garbage bags at a buck-ten a piece to throw garbage away. Push for inclusive recycling, don't stop recycling!
LOL! I think that would be the worst job ever sorting through all the garbage! Just think of everything that gets put in the garbage. Poop, piss, used condoms, bloody body parts (surgery), needles, knives, etc. Everyday you would go in wondering how many more days you would have left before you died and how many hours since you last puked.

In SF in you recycle wrong, like throw a banana peel in the trash you can get a $500 fine! Trash PoPo will get you! Funny but true.
