There's a theory among "comic-nerds" that the story on the toilet-paper may have been Vs story (which he cannot remember clearly but we never find out why he was arrested in the first place). Seems like the sort of thing Alan Moore would come up with. This kind of 'unmentioned homosexuality'-theme can also be found in Watchmen.
I've had to delete several comments that have been filled with homophobic and hateful content. If you wish to leave such remarks, then you will be blocked and your comment deleted. If you are a male and think gay men are wrong but lesbianism is 'attractive' then you are ignorant and idiotic for believing that if something you don't find attractive it is disgraceful. And vice versa for the women who disagree with lesbians. This is a video about LOVE so don't litter it with HATE.
If the American Christian Right had their way this would be the fate of every gay person in America. They have no regard for humanity and human life but just their corporate billions and their desire to see us exterminated off the face of the Earth!
So beautiful. As a mostly closeted gay man, this is so inspiring and hopeful to me. And so true, as I venture out of the closet. I am experiencing the distance and hatred that people have. This portion of V for Vendetta (and your homage) is truly some of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. Thank you for sharing.
This comment really made me happy. I hope you can come out soon and be just proud of who you are; feel free to talk any time. I know how it feels. People act so harsh and cruelly towards it; but in the end, eventually all the people you hate will wind up in your family. My dad's friend hated gay people and wound up with three gay sons. Everyone's gotta give up on the hate 'coz it's not fair and it's not right. Don't ever give up hope and stay proud; you have every right to be proud and happy
this is one of the sadest moments in the whole film there were 2 lines i loved more than any others and those were "i only told them the truth was that so selfish?" and " our integrity selfs are so little that it is all we realy have it is our very last inch of ourselves and within that inch we are free" those lines just made me think and they so much meaning behind them
I remember first seeing this movie at my friend's birthday party which was at my house... She brought it over and I started crying when this part came up... And my ex held my hand during this scene and her name happens to be Sarah.. It's still a tearjerker to me...
I cannot watch this scene without crying. The entire scene where Evy is reading about Valerie's story all the way up until the scene where Evy is crying and emotional, no words can express... Without question, the most powerful scene in any movie I have ever seen.
oh my god its awesome lovely i loved the story its short and sweet but i am interested to watch this movie, it will be gr8 if you can tell me where can watch this wonderful story, thanks in advance, tc thanks for putting up such lovely one.i cant thank you enough.
One of the best scenes in the movie. it's very touching. I wish you had excluded the background music, it's much more effective scene with Valerie telling her story.
I'm a straight man, and this scene made me cry for the first time in 8 years.

this was a beautiful scene in the movie - you should've just taken the scene without the music, but still, kudos

@ DoctorMatty;
I'm bisexual, so I know what it is you're going through.
As Harvey Milk stated, remaining in the closet only furthers the cause of the homophobes.
Let them hate us. Let them wish we didn't exist. Let them try to beat us down and demoralize us - stand up and be proud of who you are.
