Is she always so gentile ? The reason I am asking is my kid wants one and I am a little leary of getting bit,I am a little scared of snakes . He has had small ones before corn and rat snakes but never anything real big
They can be a bit nippy as hatchlings but if raised properly they are very tame. Just make sure to get a "Super Dwarf". They top out around 6-7 feet long. If you get a normal retic make sure you can care for a snake that's going to possibly get 20 feet long and possibly weigh over 200 lbs. Ball Pythons and Brazilian Rainbow boas are nice pets that don't get huge. I'd recommend a Brazilian Rainbow Boa if your son wants a little bigger snake.
I was told the dwarf and super dwarfs were much more aggressive than your average sulawesi or other normal Retic. Beautiful animal hope all goes well with her infection.
how big would a baby retic get if you breed a female super dwarf and a male dwarf retics? And how big does a clean normal dwarf retic get? 12 or 15 feet?
I started with Corn snakes and worked my way up to a ball python I'm 15 and I have a Retic. If your looking for a big snake then this one will definately get good size I would try a red Tail boa. Ask him if he would be interested because they max out at 8 feet, stay very calm, and they have very nice colors.

lol I think it's funny when dwarf retics grow to 10 feet. You get like a dwarf columbian boa and its like 4 feet.
They even have a super dwarf category for retics, condas, and burms.
