I'm not sure what you mean by generic. But this song holds up to all the new songs about Heaven/angels/The Throne/etc. I LOVE this song. It's always been a favorite. It's just as anointed as Revelation Song, and I like playing the two back to back.

Just like his song, Agnes Dei (but really only God gets the credit for either of these songs)...people were suddenly catching on to what an anointed song it was, when I have been knowing this for about twenty years.

Yes, it's from his album I 2 Eye from 1988 and I have only 4 of Michael Whittaker Smith's albums here at home and they are The Big Picture, I 2 Eye, Changer Your World and Wordship :D On VHS and DVD's I have The Big Picture and Change Your World, but I like another Christian artist and it's Amy Grant :D
