  • When I've got enough cash I want one of those sweet machines

  • i bought an imac g4 20 inch for 8£ without an hdd

  • i have a mac g4 with 1tb of hard drive and 2 gigs of ram

  • I want one really bad too! What a terrible taping/packaging job haha

  • Nice looking machine

  • i just bought one myself with 1.25 cpu and 2 gig of ram 17 inch screen, its running tiger 10.4, im knew to apple products and i wondering if this can be upgraded to leopard 10.5 thanks

  • @timebandit71 Awesome machine! Yepp, fully Leopard capable :)

  • Great review! You were so excited when your iMac arrived that you even didn't eat your breakfast!

  • I would be scared that a snake would come out of that box and kill me.

  • i wanna buy a powermac G4 i dont now the specs 'lol' but it is 20$

what for opration system can i put on it?? plzz answer (I'm dutch so my english is not good)

  • @WabeTM you can put up to leopard on any power G prosser you need intel for stuff like snow leopard and lion hope this helps :)

  • @WabeTM If the G4 has an 867Mhz processor and 512MB of RAM, it'll run Leopard. Anything lower and Tiger is the max OS.

  • You Seem So Happy In Every Video.. Nice Vid..

  • got enough tape on there?

  • dont think they could put anymore tape on that box

  • I hope the guy u bought this from is watching this lol!!!

  • lovin the n64 in the background lol!!!

  • iRemember the feeling of unboxing that.. :D

  • Dam I bought that psu this morning no joke

  • This guy is like marmite! You either like him or hate him!

  • Ive always loved the mac fire up sound

  • If you buy the apple pro speakers, the sound is MUCH louder and better. Pluss they have SO MUCH bass.

  • @scienceboy639 Yeah man they're awesome!! I used to have a pair with my MDD a couple of years back. Amazing little things :)

  • i got the very 1st imac G4 for $50 on ebay and that was a good buy because it had tiger on it ( maxed out ) , all cleaned up and ran like a charm!

  • How much did it cost?

  • fucking awesome hair, that is all.

  • @TayJKD Are you? :/ Sorry to hear it...

  • What a shit thing. My samsung galaxy s 2 has a much faster procesor.

  • @123badaap What an insane comment.... Do some research!

  • @123badaap yes it may have a faster processor but it won have the same amount of bit you know i.e. 64 bit or 32 bit

  • @123badaap Lol... well in a few years guess which one will be worth more?

  • @123badaap WHAT?!? these things were built in 2002-ish, you cannot compare tech like this! in 10 years our pencil could have a faster processor than your Galaxy S2. this machine was more about the ascetics. you can't say it is not a beautiful machine. slow, yes it is somewhat slow by today's standards but it runs well. one thing I have noticed in old macs is that YouTube 720p will not run smooth at all! @itsmynaturalcolour

  • @123badaap

This came out in 2003, idiot.

  • Whoever packaged that went duct tape crazy!

  • ur gay...

  • gotta get me one

  • Awesome! I really want one of these ;)

  • Congrats on getting a 17" iMac G4! I also had a USB 2.0 model like yours, but I had the smaller 15" model. I just love how apple designed it. Too bad the design didn't last longer.

  • @videoproducer100 I'd absolutely love a USB 2.0 model. They seem so, 'new' lol... Still, this is a really nice Mac :) Yeah, would love to see this design on todays iMac's...

  • What was the "amazing" price, if I may ask? I've always wanted a collection of older macs too, but their resale values stay surprisingly high after even a decade.

  • @tipoomaster

Also, I miss my Bondi Blue iMac G3 :)

  • Comment removed

  • @tipoomaster Tom said he got it for 36 Pounds which is like 60 dollars

  • i just switched over from pc to mac (: i love my new imac! great machines they are, and i also got mine for a steal(:

  • I actually saw that beauty while i was lurking on ebay for Powermacs. Glad you got it :)

  • Holy crap it looks like it was going to have a wild animal in it! Lol I bought a broken one on eBay for 30 bucks and then one day I got a working one with a broken screen for free! I gave it the screen from my broken one! It works great I love it

  • Verry NIce Video!

I think that this was a verry nice deal!

You didn't talk about what you are going to use this Mac for...=)

  • Also, if you can get your hands on a Magic Eraser, that will get any marks off of the bezel/screen's plastic edges

  • My first iMac was a 15" 700mhz. They are the most amazing iMacs mainly because of there designs. Great iMac though, enjoy it.

  • Great video as always!

When are you gonna be doing your Room Tour video?

  • @HiMyNameIzLee Thanks man! :)

Soon :P Still working on a few things. I uploaded the tour of my Attic to keep everyone going :) Don't want them to be too close together so I can space out the best videos :)

  • from only the the boot up already it looks like it runs reaaallyy smooth. :P, where do you get these Macs? Quite interested in getting on for fun, to stand next to my epic rig. XD

  • @RozzoFX Yeah it's a lovely smooth machine! :) I got this one off eBay. It was listed in the wrong category so I got it wayyyyy cheaper than what it's worth :)

  • I have one 15'' with a 700 mhz processor and 512 mb ram.

  • These Macs never ceased to amaze me. These have been one of Apple's best designed Macs!

  • i think they put enough tape on the box...

  • They are 2.0 ports not 1.1

  • @WeHackYourTech This was the February 2003 edition. The 17" iMac didn't release with USB 2.0 until September 2003.

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour Oh, okay because I got the 17" with 2.0 and 1.25 GHz.

  • I hate you, i'll unsubscribe your channel, so much envy isn't bearable.

    (JK, you lucky bastard :P)

  • maybe to be safe you should probably not use soap

  • you know if you use put a little bit of soap in the water and just very carefully rub it on the sticky stuff it should come off very good

  • Awesome. I have a 15" iMac G4 700MHz currently serving as the family computer. It still does pretty well for it's age. =)

  • Congrats man!!! Haha! I've always wanted on of these ! What a steal!

  • Was this stored in a chimney breast or something? My god it's filthy! It goes to show how well made Apple stuff is, especially the PPC systems, still working after all these years and in seemingly grimy conditions lol.

  • @TalesOfWar Agreed man! Still can't get all the gunk off. Will tackle it again when I've got the energy.... lol. The quality of the good ol' PPC machines was wonderful. I'm not saying the Intel stuff is bad, I'm just saying back then, they had something 'special'. Know what i mean?

Maybe I'm just losing the plot altogether.... lol

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour Apple hates on products until they do it themselves, lol, they made the Apple fanbase hate the Pentium 4, and then the first Intel Mac, a Power Mac P4 (you're not reading that wrong) was released to developers (I've seen at least 2 floating around on eBay since 2008).

It had Tiger on it, which is what started Hackintoshing.

  • i remember getting a new one of these. In fact i still have it and used it yesterday!

  • Holy crapola. They love parcel tape don't they? Hahah.

I suddenly have the urge for cereal too. Damn you, Tom!

The second little box looks like a handy place to shove dead/spare hard drives.

  • ah I'm jealous I always wanted one of these machines.

  • and 3 2 1 . . . . . . . . . fail xD like

  • I'm not too knowledgeable on macs, but £30 for any computer is a steal. Congrats. :P

You mentioned you had a old channel somewhere in this video, is it still up?

  • @ImNotADoctor5 Yeah man absolute steal! :)

It's till up I believe, but the videos are long gone. They're all on an old install of Vista on a creaky hard drive somewhere.
