Blues based groups were passed over a lot at the end of 80s(except Cinderella who made it very far).Little Caesar was amazing on cd and live, same thing, no push sidelined when they could have exploded like GNR. Junkyard had little play, Bulletboys, several more that had heavy talent, good sound, etc, just trashed by the Co. when the Seattle /grunge stuff came along. Black Crowes made it since they werent metal.Even tho most kept putting out cds, only hardcore fans even know it most of the time.
He didn't fit w Motley Crue, that's Vince Neil's band. Corabi has his own thing going, amazing song writer, musician. Sometimes the glam surpasses the music though.
@gazzac10 Us CRUE fans respect ALL the music MOTLEY CRUE puts out, although it's not the same without Vince it deserves respect cause it is the heaviest album by far, still doesn't compare to Shout, Theatre, Girls, Feelgood, need I say more! Heavy isn't always better!
This whole album was fucking great. Every bit as good as Appetite for Destruction but somehow didn't get the push it deserved. Other stuff that went largely unnoticed from the same era but shouldn't have was Junkyard, Love/Hate, and Jetboy.
I just got outta a relationship with some cheating whore so this song pretty much says how i feel lol I love the guitar solo in this song too its hella bluesy
this could have been one of the greatest bands. If John would have stayed and they got a push from the record company who knows what would have happened.I think the sky is the limit
Music fans are SO hard to figure out. This album is GREAT and it went completly unoticed. I blame the record co. for that. Why put out a record that your not gonna push and really get behind. So the Scream dont break. Next, Motley Crue hits the lottery and gets John Corabi, a real singer, that can sing the songs both live and on record. No more live performances where you get every third word of a song sang. The CD,best Motley in a long time. Poison Apples,GREAT!! Motley fans want none of it! ???
I fully agree!!! The Motely S/T album was easily one of their, if not their best album. Nikki even admits that the previous albums might of have 2 or 3 good songs, cause he was too fucked up to care about making a great album. The S/T album had it all and easily some of the best playing from all the members. I still say to this day that S/T is Tommy's best album when it comes to drumming.
@gazzac10 wtf, are you seriously on fuckin drugs or taking stupid pills you fuck! jesus christ, if you don't respect Motley for what they did then you don't deserve to breathe!! Without Vince or Motley, 80s glam wouldn't be the same, and you would still be a douche!

Listen to "Ballroom Blitz" by Sweet and then listen to this tune...similar groove.
Both good songs in their own right though.

Great record. Too bad this record didn't get more exposure. The songs were as good if not better than the music being released, at the time.
