This is our story excactly , in November my son got diagnosed with type 1 , i had the same with our doctor only i had told him i thought james had it as i had googled symptoms . James was in DKA too, bs 46 , ketones 6 .... i had to beg for a blood test ...Thank god i did , was told he would have slipped into a diabetic coma that night . Well done for this campaigne , you have my support .

Thank you for this video. I have to admit I really think I am still in shock and just living day by day since my 2 year old was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on Mothers Day of this year. When I came across your video I cried. Your experience with your daughter was very similar to what we went through with our son. Almost identical. I Love and support your campaign. In Italy a similar campaign reduced the number of people in Diabetic Ketoacidosis at Diagnosis of Type 1 to a few a year. In the United Kingdom it is currenty at least 35% in Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)at Diagnosis and sadly a people have died. We can't stop the onset of Type 1 Diabetes but we can prevent a person being in DKA at dignosis. Please share & support this campaign. xx
