Search you tube for video of Neil Foster performing the floating ball (zombie) the way it is supposed to be done. I've performed this trick many times but never as well. Even if you know how it is done you will be amazed by Neil Foster's moves. He was the master. The old crank in this video is using the cheapest store-bought zombie available (cheap cloth and styrofoam ball--very unprofessional) and demonstrates no skill whatsoever. Why he made this video has me scratching my head.

I have nothing against videos that teach magic and build enthusiasm for it, however this is blatant unnecessary exposure. It shows the gimmick, but leaves out any details and subtleties on how to actually perform the effect. Someone watching this video likely to attempt the effect, look really bad doing it (just like this guy does) and ruin it for others.

"Floating Ball" effects when done right look amazing, even if you know the methods.
