It is the girls themselves. This is actual recording of them which is then projected to make the "hologram" using a technique called Musion Eyeliner*.
This looks so realistic it's rather hard to believe it's not actually the girls themselves, shame it's not longer too, wish i could project that hologram onto a wall so i could watch it in life size form :)
