  • Robbed?????????

  • She was robbed!

  • I feel bad for her. Yet I am kinda mad at her for being to down for getting a silver at worlds. Getting silver at a world championship is still HUGE and she should have been happy for that.

  • Jordyn won the gold. She deserved it. Jordyn is a very talented gymnast. Yeah, she may have had a few mistakes, but so did Komova. Komova should be proud of herself. A silver medal at the World Championships is still a big accomplishment.

  • I think that if Mustafina was there then she wouldn't have felt so bad because there was so much pressure riding on her and her only. If Musty was there then the pressure would be more on her for being the defending world champ and the show down between them two and Wieber. Plus if Russia went 1 - 2 it would be easier losing to a team mate because you know that you still made your country proud regardless.

  • @13shifter That's truee, imagine if Musty never got injured I always wonder if she would've won AA ? I think so :)

  • she should be the winner, wieber was totally overscored on beam

  • she definitely should have won in my eyes - she was all around the better gymnast and Wieber's bar routine was very sub par. Komova was much more consistent. It's just such a shame that she's been made to feel that 2nd place is losing - it's so far from it! She should be proud of herself and the fact that she isn't show's everything that's wrong with the sport and the difference between mens and women's. Philipp Boy was over the moon with his silver medal, and so he should be!

  • She looks so upset :-(

  • She did great! hope to see her and aliya at the olympics

  • Im from russia snd i know why she was soo upset cause if russian gymnasts dont get 1st place that means they lost and if they lost their coach will told em off and practicaly almost kill them cause of training really hard

  • God

  • She absolutely deserved the gold, No mistakes in any of the 4 apparatus. She has style in doing gymnastics and I can see the artistry required in this sport only in her performances. Wish you that you can achieve the gold in London.

  • @MsCarmen80 I agree that she should've won, but not to like be mean or anything, she had mistakes on floor and beam, and I believe she hit her heals on the bar during UB, or I might be thinking of another competition. But on beam she didn't get the double spin and on floor she fell out of her double spin and had a really deep landing on her last tumbling pass and had to take a step forward. I do agree she is the most artistic, though!

  • @MsCarmen80 She had mistakes on floor and beam.

  • After watching this i have much more respect for her, she's so innocent, it's adorable. I like Jordyn but now i see Vika should have won :(

  • Poor Vika. She deserved the title.

  • she should have won. Jordyn Wieber is so basic.

  • she needs a hug!!!

  • people do realize she's only 16 right...

  • I felt so bad for her, also she looks very cute when her little weak voice and her head down... i wish was there and give her a little hug... .(

  • i think whe was robbed 14:333 is not a score to give a routine that was beautifuly done there may have been some errors but otherwise she was robbed

  • i love how people are hating this girl for being upset at coming in second. most girls her age projectile vomit if they don't get the new iphone for xmas, yet this girl gets crucified for feeling let down by the judges (how many times do we cry out against them ourselves?). She didnt pull a Khorkhina or anything (all respect to the great queen, walking out of the 2004 oly bars finals was disrespectful). We all hope Komova gets her due in London.

  • @ViardotVSGrisi That summed up exactly what I was thinking, only your version was better, haha. How can peoplenot expect her to be upset? She lost by .033! And she was robbed...

  • @ViardotVSGrisi Her "due?" No, she has to EARN it like everyone else. IIRC, this was her first major senior international. She is not "due" anything. Also, she seems to have a recurring problem with beam (jumping off instead of fighting to stay on), as well as with falling out of her turns on floor. If she doesn't fix those, she will certainly lose.

  • @BoraBoraGirl2001 boy you are completely dissecting every word and ready to pounce, eh? I will clarify: I believe Komova is the better gymnast out of a komova/wieber duel. Based on the potential I believe she has I hope (as many others) that she performs to the best of her ability and show the world what she is made of. If the judges award her for it, ie: she gets her due, the better.

    understand?

and congratulations to Ms. Wieber, shes a fine athlete.

  • She is the winner here in Tokyo. A winner is not determined by the color of the medal hanging around your neck, whether you have one or not. A winner is detemined by the majority of the people in the world. We believe Vika deserved her title. The audience said it all. Never has a crowd gasped like that because of results in an AA before. She wins our hearts.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 unfortunately the world doesn't get to hand her the title, jordyn will still have the title going into the olympics (Not meant to be a bitchy comment!)

  • @laurelgardner14 I think the world does get to hand her the title. Not in the record books though. Same for the 2000 AA. Everyone knows Raducan is the real winner even though the books say Amanar is. And I don't think the Beijing AA is a good example of being a good sport. Liukin was better that day (even though the judges seemed to ignore all of her flaws on bars) and here, I believe, and many do, that Komova was better. A .033 victory is not to be compared to Liukin's .600.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 I wasn't using that example to say that shawn should have won. I was using to point out that even though Shawn wanted to win and she did not, she was a gracious loser, more so than vika was. And I really don't think the WHOLE world thinks Vika was the winner. Just some people. A lot of people think Wieber deserved to win. I for one think we should stop arguing over which 16 year old little girl deserved to win and just be happy for them, they don't deserve to be put down.

  • @laurelgardner14 I wasn't saying you think Shawn would've won either. I'm saying that here in Tokyo there was only a .033 difference so Johnson shouldn't be mad because she didn't lose by that small of an amount, she lost by a .600. The majority of the world. We can debate who deserved the title without putting them down I hope. And I wouldn't consider this arguing...

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 That's a genius comment! Majority of the world consider Vika as the winner

  • @GymnasticsFan1144 So you disagree?

  • @GymnasticsFan1144 Uh, no they don't.

  • shes cchhoked!

  • She is the best. She deserved the gold medal.

  • You guys need to understand that her mother was on the Russian worlds team that won the gold medal . She probley wanted this really bad because of her mother . And she's only 16 and she had so much pressure on her it's not even fair plus the fact that she injured . You guys need to be more understanding she's just a child that lives and breaths this sport she's aloud to be disappointed

  • @aleanajadeskywalker You're preaching!! :o)

  • LEVO UM FORA DA NARRADORA NO SPORTV2 TU AINDA ESTA KOMOVENDO

  • the wonderful pretty Artistic Gymnast Komova, what a wonderful young gymnast. to sad that the judges was well paid. to everyone u r the winner, love u, cant wait to see you in the olympics.

  • Вика ты 1-я а wieber 2-я удачи на ОИ

  • I don't think she was being childish. It's natural to be disappointed. And everyone thought she had one. Remember, she's just 16. You can't expect her to be too mature yet.

  • A lot of gym fans (myself included) believe that she should've won. But that's no reason to act like that. She was pretty childish. I hope she improves her behaviour..

  • @caulfielducks - agrEed... I love watching her but she got second medal!! Many girls dream of that and yet she acts as you say ''childish'' however, i udnertsand how gutting it must be to think you won and for that to happen but it just goes to show - ''dount count your chickens'' aka dont assume before you know :/

  • @caulfielducks Being disappointed is not a childish act, it's a normal reaction. A childish act would have been for her to say she deserved gold. Which she didn't.

  • @soberanis100 Well said!

  • @caulfielducks If I were .33 points away from being dubbed the "world's greatest gymnast", I'd be pretty upset too. She isn't acting childish; she's acting like a normal, 16 year old girl.

  • @6235river I was upset taking 2nd at the state championships for high jump, I can't even imagine how upset I'd be if it were the World Championships!

  • She should be proud of herself.A silver medal at the world championships is still a very big accomplishment.

  • @skategurl1102 Yea I agree. She's being very down about it which I get that she's upset, it's hard to lose, but I just feel that there are more gracious losers. Like for example when Shawn Johnson got the silver behind Nastia she was obviously not thrilled, but she was still a good sport about it

  • @skategurl1102 And after coming off a serious ankle surgery. I agree! I think the US team will grab gold, but they better watch out for Komova and Mustafina in the AA final.

  • Замучили Комову, ха ха..

  • i really like her for olympic winner

  • Well at least she said it was okay to get silver and it is good it may not be gold but at least it's a medal. She still has room for improvements and I think AA in london is hers.

  • the real champions

    the real return soviets scholl

  • So she didn't think she had won...

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012

I think the question sounded like 'do you think you have won?' rather than 'did you think...', which is why she says 'no, because I'm second'.

Of course, she could have pulled a Khorkina/ Plushenko and said Yes, I am Champion with Platinum Medal.
