If Imelda saw him sing this once he would be the one, the only one, they are beautiful together, I saw them last week in Toronto Canada in a really small bar, packed I truly hope they come back, it was not a great venue, hope they don't hold that against us, but because it was so small, at least you got see them up close. She really wants people not to film and just enjoy the show. She's worried all those arms up with camera's and lights block the rest of us. loved every second thanks for show

4. The juxtaposition against "Pocketful" gives it just that much more punch.
5. It rocks better than the original, which is saying a lot. I'm a long time fan of Elvis' earlier recordings and I used to think Elvis' songs weren't covered very often because no one could do them justice, but then I heard Darrel and now I think different.
Great vocals, legit take on the King. Nice ax, too.

There are so many things right about this version of "I beg of you" I don't know where to begin:
1. Darrel's guitar. What an awesome sound all the way though, but especially between 4:23 and 4:29. What is that progression, anyway? I love it!
2. The bass exemplifies why I like the upright bass so much. The sound is so rich and full.
3. Raw and yet so polished. What a great dichotomy!
