Fact: Hatred propaganda continues today, portraying the brave, heroic Jews of Hebron as violent and as illegitimate occupiers. Such propaganda never mentions, of course, the Jewish legal and historic rights on the city, and most certainly hides all references to Arab violence against Jews. Fact: The Arabs of Hebron have not changed their violent hatred of Jews since the 1929 pogrom. The reason why Jews live there in gated communities and demand -- not always successfully -- the protection of the army, is because they are under permanent threat from local Arabs. Jews have been shot, stubbed, and otherwise violently attacked by Arabs without any provocation whatsoever. The victims of such attacks are men, women, children, the elderly and even new-born babies. For the centuries that Muslims ruled the land, Jews were not allowed to go beyond the 7th step of the stair case leading to the building.

Under Jewish rule, Muslims and Jews pray separately in the building, with no 7th step restrictions for anyone.

I am sure you haven't learned about the reclaiming of the old Jewish houses, synagogues and even graves that had been kept in ruins and covered with garbage during the Arab occupation, prior to the 1967 Jewish liberation of Hebron and the surrounding territory of Judea.

I am sure you've never heard or even asked what does International Law say about that.

I am sure you have never heard and have never inquired about the status of the annexed territories of Judea and Samaria ("West Bank") during the Jordanian occupation of 1948-1967, when no one in the Arab street ever thought of them of "Palestine". Gaza, mind you, was under Egyptian occupation, and when the PLO was gathered in 1964 neither Gaza nor Judea and Samaria were included in the organization's charter call for the "Liberation of Palestine" -- funny how "Palestine" moves, isn't it?
