hi, i dont have any answers and I have a N8 (same phone,) and after 5 weeks of use, it shut down as well. can't turn it on, in fact tried charging the other day and a light came on saying invalid charger?? did you get the problem solved? i have just ordered another phone and hopefully i can try the new battery in it. they do sell batteries for your model on ebay now for about $4 if you want the link i can send it to you, regards
I got the same kind of problem with a batterie and just ordered more batteries. The one battery will not take a charge. It shows fully charged but won't power up the phone. so. I just don't use that one I don'e have problems with the other batteries I bought.hellen

Try to plug in the charger, see if it corrects while using it.
