Frightening. A CBR is the easiest track bike. B it's stupid how fast a reasonable rider can go on something as heavy as a 600 with nearly 160hp. C Kawasaki is still an animal!! Watch out in ya Cardigan boyz!!! Damn I do like the honda though.....

I agree that MCN aren't that great.THE bike mag - TWO - Two Wheels Only, has ex BSB, WSB, and GP riders that evaluate the merits and faults of all involved. When it comes to the new 1000cc bikes, pick the one that you think looks best. Performance and handling, they're pretty much all the same. And, as you saw with Rossi, it's the rider that makes the bike, not the other way round.

i ride a lot on track, with racers and supermoto...u know something,, testers like one model more than an other, cies gives **present ** too for testers or most of the time to the wife or girlfriend.. and who cares that you ve go 10 000 hp, that your ride is the fastest (they re all so close,,)..

Road use with that kind of bike is a nonsense, but on tracks , here we go.... but,

watch the other vids associated with this one. they actually used an '07 gixxer bcuz they claim it's has been unchanged for '08. the tester on the track claims that this gixxer had the worst engine (least low end power), and felt like a 600 down low. not to mention how big and heavy it feels. watch the conclusion of this vid. gixxer got last place. of course other testers will have different opinions. can't wait to see them all.

The horsepower curve sucks, its all high end power, it crawls from lower rpms and feels sloppy at high speeds, typical Goxer I mean Gixer rider.

Of course the Kawasaki is the fastest, they built a "raw power" bike with only so-so handling. Even the PSG-1 Superbike with full Ohlins is having front end trouble.

Its looks are a reflection or direct result of the massive weight loss it just underwent as well as a dedicated mass centralization mentality. Understanding the reason and stylistic limits will help you cope with the controversial look. If you hate it dont worry you will only have to deal with looking at the tail light when you are riding.

LOL well said. Straight-aways are not the reason the CBR was made. If you are talking about the track it is usually the CBR riders looking at my RS250 twin pipes blowing black smoke in their faces. Funny, but most 1000CC bikes can't hold a candle to me. I love the look on their faces afterwards."Hey man, where is this bike from ?" LOL
