It had nothing to do with religion; BUT the reneisance, the period of enlightenment and intellectual advancement, that followed the dark ages, had EVERYTHING to do with religion. That's a fact.
This is a good reminder that there's more to Catholicism than our stances on abortion, homosexuality, embryonic research, euthanasia, and contraception.
We truly are a culture of life among a culture of death.
