Both sides have the same number of Speed, Mech, and Hunting levels: 5 each, 15 for both, 30 in all. Dark Side's Speed levels are just spread apart more than Hero Side's.

Because the eye witnesses thought Shadow was Sonic, most likely because of darkness and that the only known super fast hedgehog of the world is Sonic. As such, others continue to think this, even though the cameras show otherwise, thinking Sonic may have changed his looks.
