No, dumbass. First off, your tongue does not have pores, your face does. Second, the reason pop doesn't help is because it is considered more acidic, just like the pepper. Instead of helping neutralize, it makes it more acidic and creates a more extreme burn. Only bases can even out something acidic, such as bleu cheese or ranch dressing. CO2 has absolutely nothing to do with it.
