Oh boy, I think that "scope" kinda sucks. I think a regular red dot reflective display would work better for x1 mag. At leask we know now.

@tiffyj85 It's not a scope,its a red dot sight...and it is a very well made sight,it works great on my Saiga 12 - 12 gauge AK style shotgun so it can definatly take recoil from just about anthing/

when attached to my KWA M4 the dot ended up on the tip of the front sight. If you want the dot to be above the front sight post then yes you would need a riser.

@TheTbone285 I wouldn't really reccomend this sight for a sniper rifle since it has no magnification. A simple 3x9x40 scope would probably suit your needs.

@AirsoftGameLax the scope is meant to be looked through the side on which I have the scope cover. Otherwise known as the side with no sun shade.

Where do you put the battery?

@SoCalAirs0ft If you look at the knob that adjusts the brightness level of the dot, you will see a little cap that screws off. This is where the battery is housed.
