The only things you pay for are things that other people have spent their own time and possibly money into creating - IF they choose to charge, which many do not.

yes u can! but u cant kill them unless your in a sim thats set up to kill! or have a combat hud that u can ues to Role play with! i been to resident sims and combat to kill people or monsters.

if your going to dis people for using second life, you may as well dis yourself for communicating via this board. Its jus like the web, but 3d. As soon as media centres or tv-pc linkup and bandwiths increase EVERY fker will be on this(or sonys home). I used to call my bro a geek for nailing the net when i was young, now everyone i know nails the net, moreso than other forms of medium. Is the concept of the 'avatar' effectively the same as having a profile on facebook though? only time will tell.
