this game was a cult classic, PS however had better graphics, the conversion to N64 was fair but really you can see the difference.

I dont think these makers of this game was trying to surpass Mortal Kombat, MK was a at a level all its own that even street fighter couldn't get to.

That's a bit of a big if I think. I never played this game, been curious but never did, however from what I heard there's some deffinite distaste for it based on awkward controls...Maybe someone should form a petition to send to nintendo to get it on the virtual console? Hehe.

Yeah, the controls aren't the best at times, and a little unresponsive too. But I rather like them. Full 3D movement (something that hadn't been done before this) and the buttons are mapped one per limb, plus a fire button. It's a pretty awesome game, really. I wish Midway would make a sequel.

Bio F.R.E.A.K.S. was trying to surpass Mortal Kombat 4. But, Bio F.R.E.A.K.S. failed miserably. That's why you don't see any sequel to the game.
