Never cared for that fluttering of his tongue he started doing around the 2 Legit 2 Quit era.... Theres really no reason for it. It was unnecessary. I lost interest in Hammer around the Here Comes The Hammer video... his music got boring. I liked the Funky Headhunter era though, even though everybody criticized him said he was trying to be gansta.. But Hammers from Oakland he didn't grow up in Atherton, CA So I never got the criticism.

most of these rappers wanna play hard but Hammer back in the day was TRUE to the art form..his whole intentions in his music was to get the people up and dancing and having a good time with out the BS involved...Hammer was an artist, he wrote his own material, overseen his production, and kept a tight and sharp stage show...
