Doctors are saying March, Franzen wants to come back sooner.

Franzen basically wants to be back around the start of February, because he says he has to get at least 5 games in before the Olympics to play on team Sweden. According to Detroit News, he, Filppula, and Kronwall all did some light skating on Wednesday. (16th)

Filppula is due back around the 26th.

Kronwall is early to mid January

Franzen is February - March.

had 2 hat tricks in a 4 game sweep and ended up with 10 goals that series during that 4 game bitch slapping of the avalanche.

@joepick92 I love Franzen too man, but you can't lie about his stats. He had 9 goals the series against the avalanche and just one series ending OT goal. (calgary) If there was another one remind me. Four series ending goals? Once again you're gonna have to list them, that sounds a few too many. And I know he has scored a lot of playoff goals but never did he have 18 in 19 games. Where did you get these stats man?

I always like following players like Franzen... A guy who everyone thought wasn't anymore than a third liner who suddenly turns awesome. If Detroit doesn't put him on the second line next season, I'll be disappointed (and I'm a Leafs fan).
