Yes, I am a Mac user. All of my videos were imported straight from the camera into iMovie. Its all "plug and play" and no software is required. It couldn't be more simple. Hope this helps.

I have owned the camera for about a month now, and I am truly pleased. My only criticism is its battery life. Filming in HD really drains the battery. For example I have approximately 74 minutes of HD film time. I plan on purchasing a second battery for a trip I am taking later this month. On the flip-slide, the battery recharges really quickly (about 20 mins). Hope this helps.

Great camera! It's amazing how how much of a difference the super macro focus makes! Everthing is so much clearer!
