  • I don't know man. Target range marksmanship doesn't have much to do with a "fighting" handgun.

I'd be more concerned with being able to draw from concealment and get solid center mass hits in under 2 seconds. I'll agree being able to shoot tight groups is important, but being able to draw from concealment and get combat accurate hits (fist sized groups) is a better skill-set than being able to go hole in hole.

    Juts my opinion.

  • @hydrashok556

Yeah but that's hard to do without accuracy, accuracy must come second hand for you, and one less thing to worry about should you have to defend your life with a handgun. The individual you are shooting at may be farther away than 7 yards, and ducking for cover behind a vehicle, if that's the case lack of accuracy will get you killed.

  • @hydrashok556 slow fire comes first and one holing groups before any kind of speed shooting. For new shooters. Too many new shooters just pull out guns and start blasting.

  • @semiautoriflelover1

I agree brother. You know your stuff on here I already know that with your handgun videos.

  • @semiautoriflelover1

Hydrashok556 is a pretty cool dude also. He has been around on youtube for a while. Hell probably even before I got here. He's actually the guy who spawned my first AR15 shooting video here on youtube. I think you probably remember him, I think you were here as well back then.

  • @semiautoriflelover1

There are not many of us original guys from old youtube left who have not yet sold out, and become "SHILL" Channels...

  • @semiautoriflelover1 Yeah man I dig it.

I was just making a point that the inability to shoot tiny tiny groups with a pistol does not automatically mean someone is unable to land combat effective hits.

I love my USP9 because it is so easy to shoot all shots touching groups with and my ability to land good hits with that particular pistol is why I tend choose it as my carry gun over my other CCW-type pistols like my Beretta 92G and SW 6906.

  • What handgun was the shooter using that that printed the eratic group? I totally understand what you're saying about proper traing with the firearm and practice does make perfect. If the shooter works with the firearm long enough he'll defiantely know his limitations with it. If it is definately the firearm after several trips to the range i'd be faced with the decision of either trading it or accurizing it to correct the problem in the case of the firearm.

  • @TacGuy45

The shooter was millerusaf, and he was shooting a Beretta 92fs. I agree with all you said above. I was just yankin' the guys chain because he started yankin' mine first. LOL!

  • 155 we all know you're a damn good shooter, but you're better than doing this kind of stuff

  • @Ninety9Soulz

LOL! I just decided to yank his chain back twice as hard, after he came over and initiated his trash talk towards my channel first last week...

No problems though, after I throw out enough videos making him look bad behind the rifle and pistol, then he will learn sooner or later, to keep his mouth shut, and just do his own thing... LOL!

Maybe he can borrow a Ruger Mark III from mitchell supply, and see if he can keep up with me @ 7 yards. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

  • @155Millimeter You gotta hit the target first before telling others to "keep up with you". Missing the bullseye and placing your 2" shot group to the left at 7 yards with a match grade Kimber is a no-go (your group = off target at 50 yards).

Any future videos or comments directed towards me is an instant win for me.

Maybe when you get more subs, I'll take you more seriously.

...I'm just an old air guard WOG fobbit that can hit center at 7 yards with first shots. ;)

    lol

  • @millerusaf

    Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

  • @millerusaf <-------------- Has 155Millimeter blocked from his channel because he is scared of 155's proud Red Leg Artillery "The King Of Battle" Heritage and Valor, and also 155's FACTS... LOLOLOL!

  • @Ninety9Soulz

I never start in on any of these guys until they start in on me on my channel first in comments, ect. But you see they keep that part of it hidden from you guys though. ;)

  • @155Millimeter I understand where you're coming from, I mean don't get me wrong I find it funny when you guys do this kind of videos, but just wish you guys could get along is all. I watch both of your videos and learn from both.

I don't know, it isn't any of my business though so I've probably already said too much.

  • theres nothing wrong with the gun bro. if you watch the video you can clearly see the wind blowing him around. (forwards and back) that would sent the rounds high or low.

  • Something tells me if he sent that gun to Hickok45, it'd be ringing the far gong just fine. Bad manufacturing.. sure it happens. But lackluster shooting happens every day, everywhere, and on every busy range I've been to. And sometimes it's not even me. :P
