  • Do you think its cheaper to build your own wheel instead of buying a complete one of similar quality?

  • hi there i actualy have a question what is the diferrence of non drive and drive spokes?;]] thanks

  • @MiAntoniou drive side is where the freewheel is on, aka where your cassette should go.

  • this is the best lacing vid works for 36 also

  • thankoyu so much. really detailed video. you are a legend !!!!!!!!

  • As others have pointed out - goes wrong when lacing the innys. Should NOT select the hole on the otherside of the hub opposite the valve hole, Rather use the spokes on the other side of the hub as a guide ... the hub holes are offset on either side and run the spoke to follow one on the other side to the rim hole adjacent. You have to do this because the spokes are the same length (appart from a couple of mm difference bw drive / non-drive)

  • Nice job. Worked perfectly!

  • Dude, why not show the finished product?? Well, I know why, because your "pattern" can not work. Anyone who got to the final 8 spokes on the non-drive side it just ....um.......a little angry right now.

  • @mahonrc I have the same problem, how did you lace yours?

  • what's the procedure lacing 2 cross 32 spoke wheel? do i have to skip every other 3 holes instead of four and then over, under?

    Thank you so much.

  • thank you verry much i was able to complete 2, 32 spoke wheels

  • BULL!!!

  • Can someone give me advice? I have my wheel almost completely laced, but my last four spokes arent reaching the nipples. They're so close but they're not quite threading into the nipples. If anyone could comment back that would be great. Thanks.

  • @Fr0styZHuNgrY Same problem, Not fixed it yet. I'm stuck on the last 4 of the innys

  • @Fr0styZHuNgrY You probably put the spokes in the wrong hole when beginning your lacing on this non drive side, move it up a hole.

  • Nice how to video.

Help me understand what load is being transferred by having the spokes rub together? Both spokes move laterally as a static pair. There are no opposing forces at the intersection pulling the two spokes into equilibrium. Isn’t this just a matter of connivance in that there is lot less spoke bending and finessing required for assembly. Clue me in if I’m all wet. Thanks.

  • thanks just finished cross lacing a 36h wheel from this video as you explained it better than the video for 36h wheel, thanks :D

  • how dus this vid come up second to top on the list of videos that come up as the resault of my search; *2 wheel drive bicycle*?????????? how??????

  • I love the way he says "WHOLE"

  • which spokes are that?? can i use them for dirtjump or only for street bikes???

  • Great, It wasn't to difficult actually. Not after watching this anyway.

  • So when is the truing part coming? :)

  • Hopefully soon, definitely trying to get it done!

  • @thebiketube Quick reply! Thx! I am a subscriber so will look forward to it. Lovely videoes btw. Keep em coming!

  • Do you need to use the valve hole as a reference point? Or could you use a logo or certain spot on the rim?

  • Joe! that's his name

  • are you guys going to bring back the old hosts? (Jim and the other guy). because they were friggin hilarious. and the subtitles too haha
