Jon is one of my favorite west coast swing dancers. And I love that they allow video taping. Personally in this day an age coordinators and dancers alike should look at being video taped as an honor. Their are so many social media networks out there that I someone see's you and is inspired it will very well open up future dance lessons for the dancer. The ONLY reason why I'd EVER take class from Lindo is because rebels like this dude took video so I could see. And I think we can all agree on th

John Lindo is always a blast to watch and I think it's AWESOME that Madjam allows the event to be recorded and shared with the community. His performance at Halloween Swingthing 2010 with Tatianna Mollmann (which they won first in) was absolutely amazing and I wish it were available for the rest of you to see. I've never heard of Madjam before till this video, I think that's a great idea considering how many social media networking shares this video will get (I've already shared it on my FB).

It's cool.... the NEW 2011 video policy allows unlimited taping and publishing of all contests! Including the spotlight finals. We'll be uploading professionally recorded footage soon too.

MADjam, major props on organizing and advertising your event. I couldn't attend this year, but after seeing cool contests like this and the fun that everyone had there via youtube, I'm making it a priority event for next year. :o)

Great vid! Not to rain on your parade but the event coordinator express that attendees not video tape contests that are spotlighted. Hes really good (more than any event coordinator I know of) about letting dancers record everything else for free and if he was to see this it would probably be a slap in his face. If this doesnt apply to you or if you got permission then I sincerely apologize.
