Freddie should have been in the Hall of Fame from the very start.

Next to Ramon Fernandez, he has the most rings in the PBA and people seem to forget that!

He showed resiliency as he was still in the PBA even as his batch mates (Co, Cezar, Bogs etc..) retired already. He even bagged a mythical 5 award in the 80s.

It's beyond disbelief how Paner, Arnaiz, Florencio and other one hit wonders could have gone ahead of him in the Hall of Fame.

Mas maganda at nagaing bahgi ng buhay natin ang PBA noon dahil wala pang Fil-Ams na manlalaro, ngayon mas pangit na at corny dahil sa labis na porma at paglitaw ng mga Fil-Shams.

Freddie Hubalde was the master of the bank shot! Kahit sa 3-points kaya nya pabandahin. Magaling din dumukot sa ilalim. Truly one of the best small forwards in the PBA. Kamukha pa ni Dante Varona, hehehe.

Gosh, 7 players in double-figures, including Ed Ducut! You don't see those kinds of stats these days. Iba talaga PBA noon, mas exciting at may Pinoy touch.
